Apple has lots of competition though. If Apple is doing a bad job, people will stop buying their products. There's a ton of other options. People buy their products because they like them.
He said it himself. The best students will get hand picked by the schools for marketing statistics with the worst students getting pooled together. His analogy with the car was wrong. Me having a 10,000 dollar car isn't related to anyone else, is my own decision and in fact is sometimes better and more practical than more expensive cars. A school which only has D performing students will just be mayhem with the kids fighting and stabbing each other.

The voucher system reveals Americans fundamental failure to study what works in the best education systems in the world, none of which use vouchers and all of which heavily fund and support strong public schools in all communities.
This comment is extremely ignorant of education systems around the world. Lots of the top European school systems have a similar system to the voucher system. Sweden, The Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, and Finland which has the top rated education system in the world, all have school choice. Parents have a legal right in all of these countries to send their kids to whatever school they want. It's not just us crazy americans pushing for this.
@@cawheeler27 Correct. School choice is the norm in Western Europe. I'll be charitable & assume Neil was referring to East Asia. But even there, the culture of "cram schools" exists outside of state schools. And they invest far less in state schools than Americans.
spoken like typical feudal man who maybe never had a mother, mothers working is not the problem school systems have their own system of working I attended every PTA meeting nothing I wanted to say or said had any impact on school problems I was always brushed off as this what their system is, voucher or stipend system from fed banks to the ones who need to be on par with decent zone is must.
Mother's working outside the home especially full time are too tired to be involved. Ask teachers how many parents mom's show up to parent teacher meetings. Very few.

They don't need vouchers. Other countries don't focus on the unimportant. Our kids math scores are abysmal compared to a lot of other countries
