    Hi Blair, I also have dark under eyes no matter how rested I am and I was also super excited for this release. I've been using the Faux Filter Concealer in Marmalade which works as a corrector shade that in can wear alone, even though it's deeper than my actual concealer shade. I ordered this in the peach shade which I can also get away with alone or mix a dot of the concealer shade with the peach corrector for even more coverage that doesn't look thick or cakey. I'm willing to settle for a little less coverage if it is going to wear better. Your tips on correctors-matching the depth of the darkness is key for avoiding that gray look. Love all of your content- you have such a relaxing and calm voice.

    You’re the only person I trust to review colour correctors - you’re so thorough! And bonus, you compared this to my go-to, the pixi correction concentrate in brightening peach! If you happen to see this (or anyone else has the answer!) how does the coverage compare between those two? 🤔Is the Huda any better coverage-wise? Thanks a bunch for the review! ☺️

I wasn't sure if I needed peach because they are so dark, but you really helped me realise I want the one closest to my natural skin tone. First video of yours and now a subscriber

    I have been using the Pink Palmelo and have repurchased multiple times. I just ordered the Cherry Blossom as well. Both the color corrector and the concealer have the same problem with the component - they both get product around the ridged top. I keep mine in an upright position so I am not sure how that happens. It's honestly my only complaint. The product itself is great.

    The mix of both is nice on you.. The peach gives more coverage for me.. I'm older with hereditary dark circles and they just get worse as you age.. My skin tone is a fair light beige but my circles and bags are 3 times worse.. I'm using peach for under my eye and the pinky salmon for my lids.. I cant use a powder under my eyes without it aging me.

    Thanks for being our tester. I was curious to know, because I can’t tell definitely, is your discoloration more blue/purple, blue, or other? I feel like the tarte peach was really difficult for me to cover with my lighter concealer. Do you have the Chanel? I end up mixing the Chanel pink and peach but I wish they would all make a pink/peach blend!

    • @simplyblair
      @simplyblair  Před rokem

      Mine is purple & blue! I’ve never tried Chanel. If the Tarte Peach is a little dark for you, I would try the pink pomelo shade of the Huda. Tarte in Peach is actually kind of dark on me too

    Hi Blair! New subscriber here- I love all your corrector content! I wonder how you would compare the Huda corrector up against the Natasha Denona corrector? And comparing Huda, Natasha, and Exa, which would you say offers the most coverage? I am finding that a liquid corrector works better for me than a cream corrector. Right now the Tarte in Peach is working the best for me, but I would like to have a second good option for my dark blue/purple circles and light/medium skin tone. Thank you!

    • @simplyblair
      @simplyblair  Před rokem +4

      Hi!! So happy you found my channel! I would say Huda & EXA are around the same in terms of coverage (I would say both are solid medium coverage) so it really comes down to which shade would work for you! The EXA peach is a little little lighter in color than the Huda peach. I love both formulas so I would choose based on which color you think would work! Natasha has the most coverage to me, but her corrector colors are much more orange based. I definitely prefer EXA & Huda shades, they just have a bit less coverage. Sorry this is so long, but I hope this helps!

      I have light medium skin with extremely dark purple circles and the best corrector I’ve found is Charlotte Tilburry’s. I use the medium shade and it almost cancels them out completely. I also have the Chanel Abricot, which I thought would be a great shade for my circles, but it’s too sheer and doesn’t really correct anything despite the intense color. I also have a theater corrector palette and the Lancôme corrector-none of these come close to the Charlotte. I am going to order one of these new Hudas just to see if they beat the Charlotte, but I highly recommend you try it.

    Have you ever tried mixing a liquid blush with a concealer to use it as a color corrector? I heard it works 🤷‍♀️ I was thinking of trying it w my Huda concealer and happy blush

    • @v.besson6808
      @v.besson6808 Před rokem

      Most blushes might not have the right undertone. It was super popular to use lipsticks and other products like liquid blushes as correctors at one point, but nowadays we have a good selection of actual proper color correctors on the market so it’s not necessary. Not that it wouldn’t work per se, I just think that people keep doing it mostly because it makes for a viral Tik Tok video and not because it’s the most practical option out there
