    What sort of screws did you use at the top of the ramp? The ones that you put through the 2 x 6 then into the steel angle. Do the screws threads themselves into the angle iron?

    In Oz - one sheet of heavy duty waterproof 25mm Structaflor, cut to size. That's it :)

    This is about a 2 year ramp especially in CT. Absolutely no waterproofing. The ramp should be longer with at least 1/8" between board and some vapor barrier. What protects this from the snow or rain?

      My ramp in CT and my sons ramp in NH are both almost 4 years old and look perfect. After the pressure treated wood dried for a year, small gaps formed between the boards and then they were given a coat of exterior stain. Both are lasting beautifully!
