They have declared imminent domain on a property, demolished it on July 1, yet the family who owns it has not received a penny and still holds the mortgage to a now demolished house. The mayor watched this family renovate for seven months knowing they were going to change the route of a road and take the house. The Mayor told the family that he had no moral obligation to tell them. Please help this devastated family.

Would a compromise of allowing TVA to lease the land they want to use at a monthly or yearly fee to the land owner work? The shed and dog kennels either get moved or new ones are built by TVA for the homeowner's use. The landowner keeps his land and TVA and the community get secured power.

Title search company needs to be held responsible, realtor needs to be held responsible and closing agent needs to be held responsible. The bank or finance co isnt going to worry as long as those $3000 a month payments roll in... in essence the house was taken by a separate entity and the deed was transferred to them.. banks security is gone. A good atty could win this one. The mayor needs a few thousand peacefully protesting his ill will to residents.
