This inspires me. Thanks! Iâm the sit-on-the-couch at the end of the day guy, but this need not be. âIf you are listening to this, you ARE the resistance.â
I sure can relate to what you're saying. Composing, arranging, engineering, recording, mixing, and mastering a song is not easy! Like you, I owe Tangerine Dream a huge debt of gratitude for providing me with lots of inspiration... their music is truly awesome! Kitaro was and still is a big influence on me as well. Finally, by the time I finish (or should I say abandon) a song, I have been thorough every emotion humanly possible... several times. LOL.
Yeah, with you on that one Gene đ The number of 'sketches' on my hard drive runs well over 3 figures đ± Still, as creatives, we know it's worth it in the end đ€ đ
@@IanWaugh Yep, for sure. One of the most frustrating parts of being creative is that you end up trying hundreds of things that just don't work... goes with the territory I guess. Back in the day, another artist that had a major influence on me was Michel Genest. If you haven't heard of him, check out his Crystal Fantasy album on YT sometime when your working and would like some great background music. It's one of my desert island CDs that I still listen to frequently.
Awesome! Norway is actually one of my favourite countries đ I think some of the social and educational systems in Scandinavia are excellent. Not that I know much about them đ
As it happens Ian, my closest family and friends are creators in one form or other, from writing, sewing, photography, painting, drawing and of course music.

Great insight, Ian. Thanks for the encouragement!! đ
