Very nice tutorial! What about exposing for dlog? Do you expose to the right or centered white the instogram?
Thanks for the comment. I try to overexpose my footage a bit. By about 0.5 stops. That’s seams to get the best colours. But it’s a lovely log profile with lots a room to fix over/under exposed issues. As long as it’s not too far out you should be happy with the results
As a complete rookie in drones and video, with a background in photography, I found this video to be most informative and helpful. Well done! Thanks!
Awesome! You took a complex subject and made it simple! Thank you!
Absolutely one of the easiest videos to learn from for beginners when it comes to color grading drone footage. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the support 😊
Love this tutorial, super helpful and easy to follow :)
Great walkthrough! Thank you
Omg! This is gold! Thank you
Been flying only 9 months and just now looking at shooting in D-Log. This was super helpful, thanks! Now, if the weather would calm down a bit, I'll get out there and do some trials.
Cheers from Cape Breton Island.
Thanks, Well done tutorial. I'm going to try this right now!
Thank You!!
muchas muchas gracias! muy sencillo y muy bueno.🙌🙌🙌

That's a great tutorial. Easy to understand get the point. I like the step by step you teach me.
Super helpful video thank you!
Thank you! Good Luck on your new channel! What camera are you using in your studio btw?
Thank you for this, I didn't understand why you would deliberately film with flat setting, now it makes perfect sense with post production¬!
The Best Ever. Big Up brother. With Love from Kenya.

THANK YOUUUUUUU
great video brother⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
thanks for teaching me this trick of color grading
I’m glad this video was helpful. Happy to help!
thank you so much! amazing sruff. Quick question- if you edit a long footage where the lighting and everyhing gradually changes how would you edit?
Excellent color grading tutorial. Very explanatory. Perfectly delivered
Glad you think so, Thank you!
Great video, very helpful. I do however have to laugh at when you say, "...and I'm going to start right now." And then we sit and wait through your intro and then you telling us about your vacation.
explained it clearly and in a easy manner keep going brother soon 1k subs
Thanks a ton
VERY GOD
Well explained only here you use 5 shots in a winter landscape! I would prefer to see a colorful image so you can see much better what you have done in terms of color grading.
Thanks. Very helpful. Question: would the initial color correction step be faster if you you first checked auto within the basic editing tool? Just asking. Would doing this first provide you with a better baseline?
How about the cinelike-d profile in the Mini 3 Pro? Still unsure how to grade that footage..... :/
Could you please advise if there is a way to extract the video without losing too much quality, given that you have an iPhone 12 Max? I would really appreciate any advice or solutions you might have. Thank you so much for your help!
When you looked at the final clip on the scope after pasting your initial corrections and it was way over 100, is that an indication you should have used a stronger ND filter for that shot? It seemed like even after the correction the sky was pretty washed out.
Super great info though and thanks for sharing!
When you were shooting in the drone did you overexpose the shots a bit (+1 or +2 stops)?
Is it best to use the rec709 color space that premiere automatically applies to the footage?
The official D-LOG to Rec.709 LUT from DJI doesn't work in Premiere at all, it refuses to load, so I had to use yours. I'm hoping it's roughly the same. Thank you.
What lumetri scope is this? You have different to chose from.
so many steps.
Making me nervous to even try to use adobe premiere pro
what do i do when i say for example doing a reveal shot behind trees and then flying up where the sky is bright afff lol???? like where in the clip do i do the scope thing between 10 and 90 do i open this graph on darkest point of my video ( then my sky will be bright as fuk ) or do i do it at the sky...... then the floor is dark af LOL?
great vid, I learned alot but does it look like your end product looks skippy at 13:14?? Why is that?
1:48
so i have all the dfault footage from my mini 4 pro and I try to import into premire pro and it dosent find any files. any thoughts?

What are your laptop/PC specs?
@@Plasma250 luckily i am grateful to upgrade my pc with m2max chip and its smooth as butter. Earlier was dependent on 1650 graphics card with 2700x cpu
@@paubamlengjeme Nice! I'm picking up an M1 MacBook Pro with 32 GB of RAM. I'm hoping that should be enough for now.
@@Plasma250 that should be enough unless you working with big production company.
Difference between white and highlights
Shadows and blacks
Why don't u reduce the shadows all the way down instead of playing with both shadows and blacks
It seemed to me both options were brining down the lum. Scope down to zero !.. so what's difference between both ?!...
Hi. Why 10 and 90 no 0-100?
nice tutorial exactly as i wanted
