YOU WILL NEED : Gear indicator kit, size 5 Allen key, 1ft metal wire, Philips screw driver, tape, rubbing alcohol.
STEP BY STEP
1. Remove screws under seat then remove seat and locate RED PLUG (same plug where you would install flasher relay)
2. Tape 1inch metal wire to the end of gear indicator wire and fetch from
underneath front of tank to back. (Best to shine light from one side to see where the opening is.)
3. Remove metal wire and tape from gear indicator wire.
4. Remove 1 screw on side of plastic piece using size 5 Allen key on left side and 1 plastic screw with Philips screw driver on top of plastic piece.
5. Fetch wire from under plastic piece and connect to RED PLUG.
6. Put double sided tape on the back of gear indicator
7. Clean surface with rubbing alcohol and install gear indicator by removing paper from 3M tape. Do this where it will be visible to you. (best to do this while you sit on the bike in your riding position)
8. Put bike on rear stands and start bike
9. Indicator will blink L a few times which means it is in learning position
10. When indicator shows 1 put bike in first gear and release clutch slowly and hold throttle a little over idle. You will repeat this same step for all gears
11.When in 6th gear and it stops blinking, you will downshift 1 gear at a time slowly until you reach first gear.
12. Put bike in neutral and turn it off
13. Start Bike and Go for a test ride and ENJOY. ( If any issues arise redo the learning process or comment below and I will help you.)

@@RidewithJay when i try to reset mine it counts 1-6 , how can i reset it? when you plug it in for the 1st time is the key or engoine all ready on?
For 6 to 1 nothing ... stay 6 for evry gear ...
Bad advice for beginners. You mentioned releasing clutch while changing gears and did not mention anything about rear tire being raised.
Because it’s obvious the tire needs to be spinning
