I consider buying a toller for mig next dog. But I am a bit concerned about it’s high needs of daily mental and physical training - how much time do you find that it requires on a daily basis?!
Hi there, I now have 2 tollers. They require a lot of mental and physical attention. We spend atleast 1-2hrs playing fetch in our backyard and on walks. Then another 30min-1hr on mental tasks/fun. They are not like golden retrievers, they need you to be patient. That being said we love them to death and they're amazing dogs.

just adopted nova scotia duck tolling retriever and he refused to eat he only drinks i truly don't know what to do
Contact your breeder and Vet. Tollers are the most food driven dogs out there, so that's a big concern.

Nopper dogs in Ontario. They were fantastic, I now have my 2nd toller from them. She's almost 1yr.
