Can-linn feat. Kasey Smith beat off stiff competition from Patricia Roe, Eoghan Quigg, Andrew Mann and Laura O'Neill to win the right to represent Ireland at the 2014 Eurovision in Denmark this May. In the past Linda sang around the country in bars,ect where there was plenty of rowdy customers. She was well able to perform and everyone was happy and merry.

I really don't see why Miss Panti should be defending Louis Walsh so vehemently in all of this...the few weeks since she was on the Saturday Show talking about homophopia have obviously been tough as she looks bloody wrecked there...
They use the term `odious`a lot around cavan and the midlands. Billy isn`t really a little man and I`m not sure about `gobshite`. Strictly speaking, it means muck from the mouth.. At least it didn`t come to blows. Ryan would have reffed.

Linda Martin did us all proud. She beat all of Europe at singing, back at a time when that meant something. It used to be really special to be Irish- everyone knew who we were.
Ireland need to pull out of the eurovision and EU,If we want to retain a shred of dignity.
