Sounds good I like that body style more than the new one.
Same man, they really butchered the new ones
personally, that truck looks amazing
favorite year of chevys + blacked out badges and rims
A/T tires that arent rubber bands
no huge spacers
nice exhaust
overall clean truck
Do you have one for jeep renegade 2017 , looking to making to sound mean ?
I think it would sound more aggressive with bbk shorty headers, 2 hi flow cats (cut out 3 cat) then y piped to single the back to y pipe duals.
I like this body style as I have an 18 Silverado midnight edition Z71 and I’m really going to have to do some soul searching when it’s time to trade her in!! The high flow cat sounds wicked badass!!!!
Not a Chevy fan, but this body style >than the new body style.
dunno if you guys gives a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. Been streaming with my brother for the last few months =)
@Blake Case Yea, I have been watching on InstaFlixxer for years myself =)
@Blake Case Yup, I've been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself =)
That 2017 body style is my favorite
Awesome. I love your videos!
Has anyone else noticed that your aftermarket exhaust sounds so much better in the rain for some reason?
BRO YES!
Makes me think it echos through the rain
My favorite body style of all time. 14-18 Silverado/Sierra 1500.
The high flow sounded way better but the stock cat had a deeper tone
I didn't really notice a difference.
@CJ Malone my personal pickup is 30 years old. It's cat was terrible. She was plugged to shit. I cut her off and the truck ran a whole lot better.
Me either🤣🤣🤣
I can hear it, it's subtle but it's there. Probably more obvious irl than on camera. I can tell you having done one it's definitely a compounding feature. Cats do muffle quite a bit of sound. As a rule I generally don't try to do a true straight pipe with a cat delete because all of you get is a very loud but nasty BLURBLEBLURBLEBLURBLE sound that actually sounds horrible unless youre rocking extremely built internals with HIGH comprehension. My current set up on my 5.2 Magnum ZJ is a high flow cat and muffler delete/replaced with a small Jones turbine resonator. Sounds fucking brutal. Definitely can tell the difference between the stock and high flow cat once you drop the muffler
if you take the mufflers off you will
It has a a third cat with no O2 sensor? Just get rid of it
I've been Doing exhaust work for 35 years.... here is a trick for you on the coated tips and mufflers. If you hit them on wire brush then rub just a little paint thiner on end let sit 10min then wire brush again welds be alot smoother. But if they are galvanized you can grind till blue in the face weld will not be smooth and pretty perfect just won't happen.😎
Thanks for Tip, we will try it out. Appreciate the support
This is my exact setup (and truck but white) and I still have all three cats...imma consider replacing that 3rd one...sounds great...and mine's a year in and broken in got a deeper tone
The rpm gauge move faster for the high flow cadillac converter.
3rd cat delete 🤙
It’s cool. But personally, I would’ve done all three stock cats and converted them to high flow. You still have those other two cutting out the sound. Nothing really wrong with the stock manifolds. Put high flow cats in with the custom exhaust and power and sound should see an improvement.
Agreed, but I say run it straight all the way through to the flowmaster.
The headers include cats gm builds the cats into them
Thinkin about putting high flow cats on a 2014 silverado 5.3.will the check engine light come on??i removed the 3rd cat and have a flowmaster muffler single outlet coming out the side
Do high flow cats effect throttle response or just sound?
Does it turn the check engine light on? And what brand and part number id like to get one on my truck too
Sounds AMAZING!!! I really like it!!
Nice truck and good sound...2 thumbs up
I like it loud NATURAL EXOUST is the best THERE AINT NOTHING LIKE A BIG TRUCK WITH SOME BALLS !!!!
Does the 3rd cat really make that much difference on an emissions test?
I took my 3rd cat off my 2018 silverado,it only has the 2 first cats and a Carven R muffler, its neerly just as loud as straight pipe(only cats),personaly its not loud at all only when i actually step on it
Put two high flow cats and delete that third one that has no use
the thin space between the roof on the Silverado & the ceiling of the shop makes me nervous
What's after that third cat?..
I have a 2014 silverado 5.3 with only the third cat being removed and weld on borla atak exhaust system kit.
Question is do I need to remove whatever is behind the third cat?.
@Reece Steenson you're good sir it's a exhaust kit so you'll be good
How does the borla atak sound? I’m thinking on choosing that one for my 2016 5.3 sierra
I love it, Yeaha!
When you put that high flow cat on there what did you have to bump the front up to if it was 3 inch
What brand high flow cats do y’all use?
Personally I don’t care for the slight rasp at the peak before letting off the throttle. I have a 14 5.3 Z71 and I’m considering a high flow converter and a schedule .40 FM with 3 1/2” tips but I want zero rasp. Maybe I just couldn’t get a good listen on your video. What are your thoughts on my possible plan and the sound it will make?
Use a x pipe in the dual set up it's loud but not much rasp are clap sound
"Murdered out" means everything is black. No chrome, dark tints, etc.
Can't beat the sound of a Cherry bomb
Should’ve straight piped instead it’s louder than flow masters by a mile
Basically no difference since you just changed the one cat, I would have deleted one and changed the 2 that are left
Do Highflow cats cause any Che k engine lights or codes?
What type of high flow cars is it and how much they cost
sounds good! What brand of HIGH FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER did you use?
Do you need a tune if you delete the third cat?
Does anyone know where I can get high flow cats for a 2004 Silverado
Do you need a high flow muffler to O
didn't hear a before the HF cat tho...
what camera and setup do you use?
How will high flow affect sensor
Put 2 high flow cats and delete the 3 rd all together…..
What catalytic converter is that can h send me the link?
Getting my 5.3 to sound like tgat
I think to really make a difference ya gotta get rid of all 3
Is this Dickerson road in Tennessee?
Yes
Lol that is a straight pipe!!! NO HIGH FLOW CAT!!!!
Dronemaster
I have a Chevy suburban 2001,5.3 engine...
I want to put high flow converters on it, I already have super 10s on it now, but I want a more aggressive sound, what cats can I go with ?
Super 10s are not good for sound
@@glacierwolf7770
To each his very own, but on my truck, I think they sound great, I'm looking for an more aggressive sound, that's why I am looking for the high flow cats...
Just get rid of the 3rd catalytic completely has 0 effect on how the truck runs just sound better
I had the flowmaster high flow cats on a 2004 tahoe with flowmaster and I loved them they sound great not too obnoxious.
@@coleplaster3340
I have a 2001 Chevy suburban with a 5.3 engine, can you please give me the information for the high flow converters that you have ?
Old body style. The new ones look a transformer robot.
2018 body style
Cut the cats out and sell them, theyre worth alot of money
Wish I could get high flow cats but I'm in commie fornia AKA California
Get out of Cali as fast as you can!!!!!!!
You’re not going to the right guy lol a lot of places will pass you
@@blakeoconnor1047 are you Cali? 🤔 Do you have high flow cats? if so Were did you get them? ..
@@robb6787 yeah I’m in so cal. I deleted my 3rd cat and got my hi flow cats from a muffler shop
Were can I get high flow cats from?
You must be in commie fornia I mean 🤣 california too?
@@robb6787 naw I'm a teenager lol California sounds like the worst place to be I just wanted to know what the best kind was. I already have dual exhaust with A cherry bomb extreme lol
I put it all on my self
Hello. You can get them in Magnaflow.
sweeeeeeet
Sounds good but you can hear how underpower the 5.3 is
My SRT has a resonator delete only and it sounds much better than this. I'm bout to install high-flo cats and bet it will be about 10% more deeper
Can't hear the truck at all over the guy blabbing non stop 👎
Sounds the same
Does high cat install cause check engine light to turn on?
Not unless they fucked it up
