  • Between 2010 and 2013, Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola formed the most epic rivalry the football world has ever seen as their teams played each other 20 times over those 3 years. Although Guardiola often emerged victorious in the early encounters between Barcelona and Real Madrid, as the years progressed Mourinho ultimately found a formula to neutralize his opponent and emerge victorious in encounters big and small.
By the time Mourinho left Real Madrid, he had laid the foundations for one of the most successful periods in the club's history, cementing his legacy as a true hero of Los Blancos.

Now think about it this way, a train that goes fullspeed can't stop immediately dead on the spot if the driver puts on the breaks or the train somehow loose power, the train will obviously still keep moving for a fair amount of distance before it comes to a complete standstill due to momentum. Thats how I see this topic. Jose cut out barca's power in 2012 but barca came to a standstill in 2015 because of momentum. After 2015 it was all real madrid dominance up until now so Jose was the architect that broke barca's speed and power, Zidane and Ancelotti just finished the job.

Mourinho and pep is with barca before. When you manage a top team in the league it heated the situation which the both team have already previous history (derby) so each match is intense and both get on fire as well as their players. It happens the Mourinho came and prove himself that barça can be destroyed and he wants that to be the person behind of destroying totally.
when people have one goal they focus and if you can’t get in to it you get frustrated and get heated.
That’s what happen to Mourinho, he can’t do it or penetrated the barça totally, he get frustrated and heated in the moment of the match by match by match. It happens, frustration always do find ways under our skin and when it happens we lost ourselves. He did destroyed barça but not totally which is huge achievement for his coaching career btw and I admire him for attempting in doing so. It’s just that era barça is just unbreakable, season after season.. they may fail as like normal team but get back afterwards.
It’s like a body cell when get destroyed the RED BLOOD CELLS is there to always fix and you can’t destroyed the entire body.
What I love about him even he get defeated he bounce back and he knows the opponents player strength. He praised it publicly and he doesn’t ashamed of that. He accepts and honored the rare talents of a baller 🥅 ⚽️

Mourinho's histrionic behavior was a contributing factor but it's not the main reason why Guardiola left Barcelona. Publicly Guardiola stated he left because he was burned out and had nothing more to give.
The real reasons for Guardiola's departure are less known. He left because he wasn't supported by Rosell's board, who saw him as "Laporta's man." There were several bad apples on the squad that he wanted to get rid of and the board wouldn't back him. His relationship with the board deteriorated during his last two years as manager; they spoke poorly of him and made fun of him constantly. They removed people close to Pep from the club, including Johan Cruyff as honorary president. Additionally the players were beginning to tire of his intense management style.

As a madridista we should keep in mind the fact that Mourinho made Ronaldo the king of goals, he gave Real Madrid that counter attacking playing style, he made that team, he provided us with that spirit
He actually made messi's 91 goals in 2012 or 73 goals in 2011/12 season useless as he won the league with Ronaldo who scored just 60 goals or something like that and the whole team scoring 121 goals it was team of stars barca was overshadowed by messi or I may say they were playing around for him only he was a false 9 but looked like a real 9 that year
That year Mourinho made Ronaldo play in different positions with different roles so he couldn't score so many and also he played less games but whatever he did was more effective that's why in my opinion that season Ronaldo was better due to his impact similarly in 2015 messi was better due to his impact though Ronaldo had more g/a in that year
