A little story from Dr. SaxLove about the song "Angel Biscuit":
"Mrs. SaxLove and I were out one evening with friends, got into having drinks and laughs, and decided that nothing could be better than giving ourselves drinking names. Mine was ‘Saximus Maximus’ (call me Saximus for short).
Somebody suggested Mrs. SaxLove's name should be Angelique Biscotti. We all laughed it up - we thought that was a fine idea. And in one of those rare and sudden but defining moments, Mrs. SaxLove turned to me, gave me that ‘look’ and said, “That’s Angel Biscuit to you.”
That was even better and funnier and somehow much more intimate. Now, over time, the memory of that particular moment has seasoned into an image-inducing iconic metaphor for those times when friends are good, times are fun, and the creative force of spirit and love flow.

You knocked it out of the park with this one, Dr. Sax Love. What a nice quality recording. The bass player for this session was just great, tasteful fills and accents - just wonderful. The horn section added weight and fattened up the tracks. And the lead Sax, what can I say other than thank you !!
I was born in the 80s, and grew up in the 90s and i love this. Jazz music and funk...perfect harmony. Prefer jazz/funk mix over today's rap music any day

Rap isn't anything similar to this and perhaps a comparison isn't really needed. Funk has its own beauty and provides excellent vibes for specific moods, however I think the same for hip hop. They're two very different genres with very distinct flavors! **

I found this stream in search of instrumental background music to work with. I am a construction estimator working from home and am easily distracted by family, dogs, sheep, chickens and the seemingly endless Amazon deliveries that launch all the animals into a barking / clucking / braying frenzy. I was listening to a different instrumental stream before, but it was a little too relaxing and I found myself dozing off from time to time. No problem with that here! My ONLY issue is that these grooves are infectious and I find myself bobbing my head like one of the chickens and punching the calculator in time with the bass line. A little problematic, but worth it. Thank you!
