I have a 1999 GMC Suburban SOUTHERN COMFORT EDITION. 5.7 4X4. Power seats,.windows, locks, mirrors. Leather seats with souther comfort editor embroidered in head rests. Has 4 bucket seats and bench in back. Power hide away radar detector that lowers down and 2 flip down tv's. 2 vcr players and Nintendo 64 all factory installed in the big arm rest between from to seats. Drive it daily for last 4 years I've owned it and love it.
Ideally yes, but you can also do it on the fly if you are not driving to fast. i believe under 25mph or around that. It is possible that it can jam, but in reality it all depends on the condition of the shifter motor :)
@@joshuabishop5602 Usually it takes anywhere between 1-2 seconds. light on the button should eliminate. But that is not a definite indication. The vehicle should drive with a noticeable difference. It is 4WD afterall now AWD. You should also feel the difference during turns but be careful and do sharp turns slow when in 4x4 especially on a dry pavement (or you can damage transfer case).

How do u shift in to 4h like do u have to have the vehicle in neutral
