Saaga truly is the Greatest Robot Pro Wrestling Champion Of All Time!
He has so many weapons in his arsenal from so many different martial arts. Not just all manner of wrestling supplexes (back, side, belly to belly), but judo throws, aikido arm grab throws, sumo swats and swipes, straight jabs, trips, small package pinfalls, and best of all, an unshakable, untoppleable, super-stable af base that makes him hard to take down. I dare say he's the most complete package in all of fighting today. (Striker and grappler. It's a shame there are non submissions in robot wrestling since robots dont know pain and therefore will never tap out even after they completely lose a limb or two)
Ps: I think he even knows Wing Chun. Someone brought my attention to that gong punch at 6:22. That is a perfectly thrown Wing Chun punch if I ever saw one.
Sometimes I think " hey this new guy has a chance against saga ? " ...... Then the last 3/4 of the match happens !

I don't get why a punch can give you up to four points but a suplex only gives you one or two
I guess because a grapple is more likely to score a takedown so they give 1 or two, while a strike is typically more difficult to knock down with, giving 2 or 4.

Why is there no punching type competitor? Is there some kind of rule against that? Most of them does the "lift hand" movement to topple down the opponent which is very ineffective. At least Kaiser's dropkick attack was innovative. Saaga is such a solid model at this point, the grab fixes accuracy issues when it does the attack and the suplex is not only effective but is flashy as well.
I thought the same thing a punching robot will be really effective but then again this is wrestling
I just think that most robots just straight up have the force to properly punch.

The thing is, the robots that saga faces are just walking around, shoving him, trying to know him down. They need to install some basic fundamental fighting styles to these robots as well like boxing, MMA, etc. Obviously saga is an expert in grappling and takedowns, and his stature gives him a good center of gravity to use his moves.
