- Hello everyone!
Some of you might wonder what it's like to be a doctor, or a healthcare worker in the medical field, manning the ICU, the hospital wards and even the emergency rooms. I'm sure most of you have seen it in movies, or vlogs of other people, but in this video, I share my experience as a medical intern in one of the government hospitals in the Philippines. Interns and clerks play a role in the healthcare system as well, helping out the residents, the fellows and the consultants. In light with the recent COVID 19 pandemic, as well as the recent advice to pullout the medical interns from hospitals across Metro Manila, I want to shed light on what really goes on in the hospitals because a lot of people do not fully understand the work that doctors do in order to help each and every one of their patients. This is not an easy job and doctors go on duty day in and day out, some with no sleep even, to make sure that the patients' well-being are taken care of.
Even though it pains me to be pulled out from the current hospital I am working in because I know that the manpower for the hospital has already been reduced, I hope that with this video, you guys can help in any way you can because our residents, fellows, consultants, who are our current frontliners are in need of masks, alcohol and personal protective equipment so they will be ready to face the day and help each and every patient that comes in.
I appeal to the general public/businesses, PLEASE deliver masks especially N95 and other PPE to all healthcare workers at our referring govt hospitals like:

Hi there. I stumbled across your you tube video just as I am planning to visit the Philipines for the first time in hopes of retiring there. But for now, I was visiting for work since I am currently working in Palau. I was just asking a friend of mine if there is a VA hospital there since I am recently retired military also. In our Embassy one of my staff informed me that the US Embassy in Manila has a VA office. So, if and when Iâm ready to relocate there, itâs comforting to know that there is a VA hospital there with such a lovely professional like you. And yes Iâm single. Lol.

duties right now are much easier.clerks and interns have shift duties either 8 or 12 hours ONLY.our duties during our time were 24 hours(if you're lucky to have a from duty status) or 36 hours straight.

If you can still vlog and eat hindi pa yan toxic. But interns usually have less workload compared to residents or fellows. Enjoy the journey because we need more doctors (or healthcare workers) especially in times of crisis like what we're facing now.

I'm literally soooooo stupid when it comes to anything that relates to science and it frustrates me knowing the fact that i can't even get myself to improve my knowledge about the things I've learned from school and now I'm overthinking of what I'll become in the future because i doubt myself that i can make it. Hello ma'am new subscriber mo ako. Nurse po ako batch 2008 pero never ako na-employed sa hospital kasi way back 2009 nung nakapasa ako sa NLE mahirap mag apply dahil over populated ang mga nurse. Ngayon gusto ko na po ulit bumalik sa practice kasi iba pa din pag pina-practice ang profession. Nakakainspire po mga vlog nyo real life scenario. Maganda po ang content. đ

I have tried Nightshifts in SM Baguio as a Security Guard from 2015 to 2019 (shift 7:30pm to 8am) before my accident and first 4 months is quite enjoyable BUT nearing 6th month only I can feel the toll abit.What a great experience tho,madami akong nakilalađNaala ko ung Co worker ko na every break time palagi nag ku kwento ng horror storiesđ€ŁNightshift Guards has 2 per floor,SM Baguio has decent wide areas per floor and all lights starting closing time are quite dim.
