- The New Jersey light rail system is run by the New Jersey transit in the cities of Jersey city and Newark. The lines are of a tram-train type design with some underground grade separated bits and some overground street level bits. The trams used on the system are Kinki Sharyo 2000 series trams with a white and black livery. Service is frequent, fast and affordable and I would Definitely recommend it to anyone in these cities. Enjoy the video !

probabally the best transit agency after MTA in North America. I love NJ
I’ve ridden both the Hudson-Bergen line and Newark line. Fabulous mode of transportation. Efficient and affordable. I love 💕 it! 👌
great
NYC needs this for the outer boroughs.
Yup but I still think the IBX should be a subway just as at least one high capacity heavy rail connection between the outer boroughs. Building light rail on top of the IBX though would be incredibly beneficial.
Using heavy rail can be very complex and challenging. This won't work for the interborough express.
😢You forgot South Jerseys River LINE, that connects to the Atlantic City Rail Line.
Didn’t have time to film that one 😬I named it all the lines cuz the river line is more of a tram train than light rail like the other 2. I’ll be sure to include it if I ever remake the video though!
Great video, but that's not all the lines as the River line is not shown here
Yeah I didn’t have time to visit the river line. But that one is also kinda special because it’s like a mix of light and commuter rail. I’ll be sure to include it if I remake the video.
