- Jersey City New Jersey is the oldest city in the Garden State and is the neighbor to New York City. Jersey City is known as the 6th borough because it shares the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island on the Hudson River. Jersey City has a life of its own with the iconic Central Terminal and Colgate Clock. In this grand adventure we tour Jersey City's Waterfront to experience the views of the Hudson. Did you know about Jersey City’s amazing views? Have you ever been to this part of the city?
The best part of Jersey City is Lincoln Park, that is a beloved place for residents 🥰
Oh yeah Lincoln park for sure I live in North Carolina but as a kid my mom sent me to Jersey City to visit my aunt's and uncles I miss them times the early 90s
I grew up in Jersey City. 🗽🏙🌃🌉🗽
Thank you for this video. Because of this video, I visited Jersey City for a few days and went to Liberty State Park. Great views of Manhattan, and the Central Terminal and the 911 Memorial were both very moving. Thank you!
Thank you so much Richard. It truly is a moving memorial. I really enjoy this part of Jersey City. Its such a more calm environment then being inside NYC but still get some of the best views
I lived in Jersey City until my retirement. Glad to see it's growth , renewal and revitalization . Nice video.
thank you. Jersey City is a great area and its experiencing tons of great changes to the city
I'm from Indonesia. The video shew me that Jersey City is amazing city.
Thanks again for this video. I stopped at two spots in Jersey City (the Empty Sky Memorial and the Colgate Clock) that I learned about through this video.
Thank you so much Chris. The Clock is so much cooler in person. I've past by it so many times and always though the clock hands were idle until I was right beneath it and saw that they were active.
Hi Jose, I am moving to the jersey city in august as an international graduate student, thank you so much for this wonderful video introduction of the city. Learned a lot because of your effort.
Jersey City 201 born & raised on the Hill of the Greenville section as some know It 🙌🏾
This was an excellent video. Well shot, beautifully written - you nailed the memorial section. Heading to Jersey City today from Westchester, and feel far better prepared and informed as a result of watching this!
thank you for the great feedback and glad this video help prepare for your trip
Amazing how you are able to convey messages, u r blessed, I’m from jc, born and raise, phenomena job Jose.

Jersey City is really a beautiful place! Great video Jose!

Theme song is bussin again!! Looking forward to what you explore next
Great tour Jose! Lots of history there that I didn't know about. Looks like there is a lot to see in Jersey City.
Thank you Nick. Jersey City has tons of great things to experience. I only scratched the surface of the city
Excellent Video Jose ! Thanks for sharing.
thank you so much for the feedback
Bro that was amazing!! Can’t wait to see more man
Thank you
great tour video! would love to see more content on food in JC!
wow amazing video i am going to visit NJ in the future thanks for all the info
I love my city and what has become of it. Jersey City a.k.a "Chilltown" ❤
Jersey City is such a chill town compared to New York right across and even the neighboring large city of Newark. Its become one of my favorite New Jersey cities to visit
I absolutely love your tours. Especially giving the fact how much attention someone finally puts towards the Atlantic North-East. Are you planning to do New England in the future maybe? Would love to see that from you!
thank you so much I really appreciate the positive feedback. I am wrapping up the Mid-Atlantic and will begin the New England area in Spring. I have a lot of family across New England so I am very excited to begin filming there.
@@JoseOnTour Sounds absolutely perfect my friend! Can't wait to see results!
Great video!
Great video and I have driven through Jersey City quite a few times, but never have seen the downtown area, or how vibrant it has become. And that it might soon pass Newark as the most populated city in NJ, I was not aware of that.
As of 2018 the only difference is about 20K residents so I'm sure its narrowed even more since that last census. I would visit Jersey City as a kid and a lot of it has completely transformed since then including the downtown. I think more cities should create open spaces like that.

The Mass Exodus: Why NJ is Losing Residents
Nice video :), I'm going to Jersey city soon and planned on visiting NYC, but it seemed like a missed opportunity to not visit Jersey City as well, I just didn't know what to do there so thanks for the info!
nice video . professionally done
thank you
You did an amazing job on my city editing was also great
Thank you
Jose~ Bonjournice to meet you-tahnk you~great ~👌
Pleasure to meet you and thank you for stopping by my video
Nice video!
Thank you
Nice video, but you didn’t tour Jersey City. You toured 1 neighborhood in J.C. and liberty State Park.
I'm from England and I have never been to America but I would love to go. If I did go one day, I would love to visit NYC because my favourite police drama, Blue Bloods, is set there (and I have a massive crush on Vanessa Ray. Will Estes is a lucky man) and I wanna visit New Jersey because my favourite singer, Mr. Jon Bon Jovi lives there.
This is a great and very informative video. Thank you. I've just subscribed to your channel.
We lived in S Jersey so whenever out-of-town guests wanted to go to Ellis & the statue we’d take the ferry from Jersey City. It was much less crowded than going from the NY side. You made me laugh when you said you were tempted to eat pizza but were going to try something else, then you’re sitting on a step mentioning how many pizza places there are looking all regretful. 😂 I was like, bendito. You remind name of my son and his love for pizza. Lol
Yeah its night and day when taking the ferry from NY to NJ. I've been all over the world and have left all inclusive resorts just to say i've picked up Pizza. I wound up by my kids Pizza and I said to myself I was going to try something else. It was so tempting.
Waw❤
Jersey city is done realtalk 💯 let me give u a real tour so u can see the real problems, life long resident Community Guidlines dont exists in our real Community ❤
What a beautiful and relaxing in the night market while stering the distance NY skyline..😊
I love ole jersey city 🏙️
Jersey City is such a nice escape. You get the grand views of NYC without the hassle. And then the city has so much great stuff to explore
Here in NJ, you can only see the Statue of Liberty from behind. Like the rest of the country, she has her back turned to us.
Nice twist to the mid to late 1900"s about new development. To my family, the 1950's was the start of the city going downhill so they got the h ll out. They were right.
What was that song playing during the Hudson Waterfront section?
I am from Jersey City and this is a great video
Thank you Mike
Can't do a video on North Jersey without mentioning the traffic. Hah! Very well done, Jose.
There has never been a time that I've crossed the Holland Tunnel and not been stuck in traffic. Every driver has to experience rush hour in the tunnels just like the LA freeway. It will prep them for any drive
@@JoseOnTour I went over the GWB around midnight one time. Went right over it with no traffic and felt like the smartest guy in the world!
That’s what the PATH Trains are for, l.o.l!
Traffic is really that bad during rush hour.
North Jersey between 7am-9am, and 4pm-7pm becomes a chore to drive in, and becomes a nightmare if you run into an accident on I 280, route 3, the parkway, or the turnpike.
Outside of that, it’s pretty decent driving and you can get a lot of towns and places in about 30 minutes.
I was born in New Jersey Riverview hospital in red bank.
I've not seen any state East of TX. I have lived in Quebec City for the last 5 yrs, but I need a miriacle to be able to go anywhere.
😎
I'll be moving to New Jersey this month 😎
Bayonne pronounced

Beautiful ❤️ 😍 area 😊
thank you Amanda
@@JoseOnTour you're welcome 🤗
Sonny Liston fought chuck wepner at the armory in 1970 !! On summit ave!!
I grew up on Summit Ave Next door to Joey Gs bar if that rings a bell ,walking distance from Journal Square Best pizza and hot dogs anywhere , Sabretts. Left for the Air Force in 1976
Then moved to California in 1984. DONT recognize anything in this video except the Holland tunnel.
Jersey City is so nice!! And only getting better!! Buy a property there!!
You get the best city feel and vibe without paying those New York prices
13:46 - This street reminds me of Monsters Inc.
Great tour! Subtitles would help me.
thank you, I am currently working on adding subtitles
@@JoseOnTour Thanks!
Very nice video
SOS. 😢USA. The transport infrastructure disaster. The infrastructure project "The bee honeycomb model of the conglomerates" solves the problem. 😇 Aleksandr Stukan.
Downtown JC is beautiful, but the real culture isn’t downtown. You should head towards the Greenville area and get some great food and meet amazing people. The area isn’t as bad as people would have you believe. I’ve lived there close to 30 years
Yo watched video
No se si me equivoco pero eres latino porque la forma en que hablas no es de un nativo americano
Si, soy Dominicano. A veces sale mi acento
I wanna move here.
I wanna live in jersey city I heard it is more affordable obviously than nyc
There are still parts of NYC that are ok but you still have a better quality of Life in JC with the perks of being so close to NYC
@@JoseOnTour what parts of jersey city is like nyc?
Downtown is "nice" but it's only 25% of the whole city. The other 75% still suffers from terrible city management/traffic and crime. Funny how all that downtown tax money doest end up helping neighborhoods like Greenville or the heights where all the drug dealers/users still are
no it doesnt. Youve either never been there or went 30 years ao
Nice but why this city cannot build a 1/2 mile elevated highway from Holland tunnel to I-78 using Biden Infrastructure money?
Thailand has 50 mile elevated highway and India is not far behind!
Part of the problem is that EU is lagging behind Asia, and our politicians are ignorant about Asian infrastructure
New Jersey isn't in the EU
ρяσмσѕм 😑
No one is lumping Jersey City with the boroughs. Stop it.
I see nothing amazing about it. Looks old and dreary
I would not call NJ exciting by any means.
Sorry your not around the right people
It says Amazing not Exciting… most neighborhoods you invade are built blk communities that you gentrified later due to lacking flavor saltine 🍞 for anyone to want to come to your own…
👍👍👍❤️
