- The Dad and Lad RC duo headed back to Parys Mountain on Anglesey - our scale heaven location for crawling and trailing - and had to battle through 45 mph winds, which made filming a little on the interesting side!
Great test for Luke's two-stage foams which have been added to his tyres - massive difference in performance on side-hills and turning on descent.

It was very windy and bloomin freezing here to lol,
cool video , thanks for taking the effort.
Very enjoyeble to watch as always and both rigs looks great 👍👍
Looks like a good spot, not that far from there, will have to check it out one day
It is well worth a trip - all sorts of terrain, from gentle scale trails to more challenging bits, to full-on technical areas. It is huge too, so plenty of options.
trucks look amazing, very scale, how do you take the body's off with all the stuff in the back covering the rear clips?
We have 3D printed racks made to the exact size of the bed, and then put all of the accessories into them. These are held in place on a few pieces of Velcro. When we need to put the pins in/take the pins out, we just slide a flat-bladed knife under the rack and carefully lift it up and off the Velcro.
very clever, great idea, also cutting tire in half makes the bed look deeper, brilliant 😀👌👍👍😎
@@rcplaytime Yeah, was pleased how well that came out. We were originally going to cut a square out of the bed to drop the tyres into, as Luke really wanted the Dakar-style tyres racked together, but then I figured cutting on in half not only avoided cutting the bed, but also seriously reduced the weight! So winner all round! Does look effective though! :)
Nice crawling, from 10:40 to 12:12 where is that on the mountain? my dad grew up in Amlwch and spent many hours on parys mountain and even he doesn't recognise the area lol anywhere near the windmill?
Ha, yes, not far from the windmill. If you stand on the 'bridge' and look out over the site with the windmill to your left, that path they are initially going down is there. And then we went in through the little tunnel to get to the other side.
@@dadandladrc319 Thank you 🙏 will look for the bridge, maybe see you there one day lol
It is a fab place to crawl. We are there regularly through the year, be great to see more people up there with RCs.
