I'm very happy you have a heater for now.

I needed it too. It's just big enough to heat up the cabin.

I built a stand and used a hose connection to a 100lb tank during January 2024 cold snap in my 6x8 greenhouse. Only used I as supplement heat to a 1500 watt electric heater during single digit night temps. Little buddy performs very well. There are several videos online for ideas on how to build a stand for the little guy.

Yeah, I might end up doing that. 1lb tanks are not sustainable.

This is the time to learn how to refill your 1 lb propane tanks. That can be done with a 20 lb tank and a transfer hose. There is a procedure to do the transfer, so please check out that process. It will drop the cost down and since you have empty 1 lb tanks, they should be reused to cut down on costs. Check out the larger unit, Buddy heater. Its low setting is 4000 btu which could work better for colder exterior temps and has an adapter for a 20 lb tank.

I agree. I need to get a setup for refilling the 1lb tanks or get the next size up.

yea the use of the tank as a stand is not designed for long time usage , ours is a little different model , so the tank hooks up seperate

Yeah, I was thinking about maybe rigging something up to allow you to use a 20 lb tank, but I guess it would be way easier and probably cheaper to just buy the bigger heater. :/

Yeah, Kevin tricked me. I had no idea he had the same heater. I thought I'd be doing one not covered. Oh well.
