In this video, we look at how plants use the glucose produced in photosynthesis. This looks simple but you need to learn the details as it's a favourite with examiners.

Great video and definitely helps...especially after lessons at school.
Thank you so much freesciencelessons, you have helped me and so many other students in our studies, you are the best teacher I know!
I love this dude he saved me in biology chemistry and physics but mostly biology
Hats off to Freesciencelessons for such excellent information. My gratitude is unbound. Thanks for saving my unit test score tomorrow!!!
Cannot thank you enough... i think i may as well start thanking you on each of your videos. I use your videos for my GCSE revision it's a great strategy!

Thanks alot for the video they help me all the time when working through past test paper you're the goat!

used for respiration
make cellulose wall!
produce amino acids which help synthesise proteins w nitrogen
turn into starch
converted to fats and oil as a storage energy
Thankyou so much, you helped me for my biology mock which went well :)
you helped me get an 8 in my mock, thank you sir! ❤
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!
You should be the king your videos are so helpful
Brilliant video really well explained and you summarise the key ideas you need to know
Thanks for the comment. I'm glad that you are finding the videos helpful.

Thanks for the help

Good luck today
i love you, thank u so much
i cant find the question on your revision work book
Simple yet effective. Don’t listen to negative feedback.
I don't think he get any negative feedback he's too good
so basically glucose is converted into fats and oils for energy?
Speaking from previous mock exams, the term ‘insoluble starch’ is quite important when it comes to glucose uses. It combines the knowledge of multiple topics, so that’s worth remembering too.
A B this is really late but why is starch being insoluble useful?
Maria Shah it means they won’t swell up if any water goes on it. Insoluable means it can’t dissolve in water.
Sir do plants use the oxygen they make during phitosynthesis for respiration
YOU GOt THIS EVERYONE
Thank you. Concise and informative. Long videos are for LATER....
WE NEED SHORT ONES TO get a foot in the door.
Good luck on that Biology test you're only now beginning revision on.
Thank you 😩
Literally 22 past 11 and my exams tmrw😔🙏

Thanks. I appreciate your comment.
@@Freesciencelessons no problem
British schools know this guy like their dad
where do you find past papers other than AQA website?
There aren't anymore other than the AQA, also good luck for the exam there is only a few hours left
so glucose+ nitrate ions= amino acids?
yes, then amino acids build up into proteins for growth
Can anyone explain what “synthesising proteins” is?
"Synthesising proteins" means "making proteins".
Freesciencelessons thanks
Protiens are being madeee
Anyone else got biology in less than 3 weeks
GOOD LUCK GUYSS
WHO IS WATCHING THIS IN 2018?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
You me both, Binged watched all of this and chemistry and i think my brain is about to melt
yes ikr omg u have biology to its gcses HELP MEEEEEEE
Naaa im watching in 2012 preparing for my 9-1 biology exam
When you say, plants an use the glucose to produce proteins do you mean the glucose is directly used to produce it or it is used as an energy source.
Both. The carbon atoms are used to create amino acids and the energy from respiration is used to join the amino acids together to make proteins.
Thanks!
Freesciencelessons.com isn't it better to say AEROBIC respiration rather than just respiration?
10:35pm homework’s due tomorrow
