Agree, mahirap kasing yumaman or managana man lang ang mga taong sarado ang mga palad (kuripot). Ang alam ko lang, ay ang taong matipid---sa paggastos ng wants at hindi sa real needs. Kung gusto nilang umani ng sagana ay dapat handa silang magtanim or maglabas ng pera, at yan ay sa tama at legit na investments tulad nito.

I agree on the most part, but renting a room on your house itself where you're living is a dangerous game. Especially, they're strangers. You never know their full intentions. I only invite my close friends and relatives to my home. May be a good source of passive income, but not worth for your safety. Be vigilant.

I have to agree with you. We run a room for rent business and there are times that there are one or two tenants who are delinquents when it comes to paying their monthly rent. Worse, we make policies on what are the things that tenants shouldn't do like drinking and smoking in the premises cos there are kids, and most of the time these tenants break these rules.
As for revenue, WE BARELY MAKE ENOUGH from the total amount from the rent of all tenants, to cover up our business expenses (that includes maintenance), living expenses and most of the time, no monies going into the bank.
And these tenants are the reason for their electrical and water bill going up so high, we owners have to cover up the expenses from OUR OWN POCKETS.
And lastly, we can't just evict a tenant. Even if they don't pay that month's rent, we have to wait 3 MONTHS to give them an ultimatum to get evicted. 3 months is too long. No revenue coming to us. That's the law for you, which I think it's unfair to small landlords.
And don't get me started on updating the books, keeping track of their payments, calculating the BIR, checking who has paid and who hasn't. It's definitely NOT A PASSIVE BUSINESS when you do these tasks.
Do not go into this kind of business. You've been warned!

I believe logically Real Estate isn't passive income because you want money in and you want to keep making money, You want money to your hands and not waiting for it to come by luck because you're depending on someone buying your land and it's only good if you have something to keep you stable or if you have another high income Job or work
