You will be getting an email with the exact time and link to zoom meeting a week or two before the scheduled ceremony. Try to be in Canada during the whole day, if you can't wait for the email to tell you the exact time.

Hi I had the same feeling coz we also got the email 2days before the ceremony itself and that time I wasn’t familiar on how to use Zoom. So what I did was I logged in 30mins early of the said schedule so I can figure it out. But the staff was so amazing they helped us go through the process from registering our names and assigning our seat numbers up to the end they were their to help. Just prepare atleast 2 government issued IDs (licence & health card) and as well as your PR card. The forms, pen and a pair of scissors. We weren’t able to sing Oh Canada though
I checked application status, and it says congratulation, you are scheduled to attend to your citizenship ceremony, is about 11 days, I says that I will received the invitation email with all the instructions, but I haven't received yet, the email with the invitation, and the instructions, I am exited, I hope to have the invitation email at least 4 days before just to make sure I have everything set. I am more exited cause I was invited to take the Oath about 1 year and a half, but one day before it was cancelled because of the Covid.

I did mine in July as well and usually it takes 3 months after the test but I think with everything going on might take a little longer 🤷🏽♀️ my friend did hers in April and did the oath couple days ago
As you can see in the video.. these are video clips..some part of the whole ceremony is not recorded for privacy purposes.. they will verify your identity so that part wasn’t recorded..

Hi we got an email with all the instructions just 2days before our scheduled Oath Taking Ceremony. In that email they will tell you everything that u need, the link for zoom, on what time ur ceremony is and everything that u need that day. You have to send if after your Oath. You will sign it during the ceremony and not ahead of time… you will receive that form via email. They will send an email for the instructions with the documents you need to print and prepare for the Ceremony.

Hi the ceremony itself took for about almost 2hours depends on how many of you who will take the Oath. During ours we were a total of 47 participants. We signed in early coz we weren’t sure what to do 1st 😄😅 our scheduled time was 1pm but we signed in at 12:30noon but staff were very accomodating and assigned our seat #s and did all the verification and registration. We were done around 2:30pm

Hi we didn’t had interviews with a CIC Officer and they didn’t look for our confirmation letter but they’ll gonna ask you to prepare for that document so I guess it dependes on the staff during registration on the Oath Taking Ceremony Day.
Hi I think it all depends on each individuals applications. Our took 2-3 months before we had our Oath. We got the invitation 2 days before our scheduled date. Some of my friends took longer than that so I guess it all depends.

Hello, sorry for the late response. It only took about a week after the ceremony that we received our certificate in the mail. And as for the passport you need to apply for it, they said it takes about 20-30days to process.

Hi, if you have to follow what the IRCC provides on the scheduled date they provided. You can log in early and an associate will help you set-up. They are very accomodating and very helpful if you’re not sure what to do. On our scheduled date we logged in 30mins earlier coz we are not sure why else to do. And they were so very helpful.. congrats in advance

Hi so in your scheduled ceremony before it starts, they will register you and will verify your identity. You must prepare to avlid IDs like Drivers License and Health Card then they will verify your Mailing Address since they will mail your CitizenshipCertificate 10 working days after the Oath Taking. They will mail it via Canada Post so look out for it in your mailbox.

We submitted our application 2019Sept. Originally we supposed to have our citizenship test 2020April but becausenof COVID they had to cancel it. We took our online test on March2021. Hope it helps
@@balrajkaur9565 before the Oath Taking itself they will verify you and check your IDs. They will give instructions on which part of the document you need to sign before and after the ceremony. We didn’t get any interviews before that.. hope that helps

When you get your certificate you will fill-up an application form for the passport and you can mail it to service canada together with your payment.. they said it’ll take 20 - 30 working days to process then they will gonna mail the passport to you

Yes everyone receives an Invitation for Oath of Citizenship wether in person or online there is assigned seat number to each individual. Upon registering when signing in to Zoom you will be renamed with your seat numbers..

@@MandeepKaur-uw6nb in the email you will receive the zoom link, the instructions on what to prepare for your Oath and the documents you need to print. If you won’t receive the email yet then maybe they will reschedule your Oath. Try also checking in your SPAM folder maybe it is there.
We actually didn’t had an interview. Before the Oath Taking Ceremony itself, when you Log In to zoom you’ll need to register and they will verify your identity.

With being ourside of canada I’m not really sure if you can do the Oath taking. I think you have to be in the country to do so but like I said I’m not sure. About passport application you need to go the nearest service canada office to apply for passport but in your case that you are outside of Canada that I cannot ans.
@@floramay19 still, you are not supposed to record anything at all, except to take a selfie when they tell you to do so. So clearly you decided not to follow the rules for the oath taking ceremony. Not good in my opinion.

@@balrajkaur9565 before the Oath Taking itself they will verify you and check your IDs. They will give instructions on which part of the document you need to sign before and after the ceremony. We didn’t get any interviews before that.. hope that helps

When you get your certificate you will fill-up an application form for the passport and you can mail it to service canada together with your payment.. they said it’ll take 20 - 30 working days to process then they will gonna mail the passport to you

@@srla.5145 my husband took the test in March. I took my test in April and we got an email May 31 for the Citizenship Ceremony. Our Oath Taking was June 02

Yes everyone receives an Invitation for Oath of Citizenship wether in person or online there is assigned seat number to each individual. Upon registering when signing in to Zoom you will be renamed with your seat numbers..

@@yousrimohammed4520 after the ceremony you will receive your certificate of citizenship via mail. it would take about a week or 2 then you can apply for canadian passport if you wish to do so. between the test and ceremony we waited for about 2-3months..

Hi there, how did you know that you are scheduled to take the Oath when you haven’t got an invitation? My husband got the email 2days before our scheduled Oath then we just printed all the neccessary documents needed.
@@floramay19 actually i checked my online account, they said this is your invitation for oath of citizenship ceremony, but now I don’t know about the zoom link and what documents that i needed?
Because my oath ceremony is on 11 April. And i call them they said you received an email. But today is 7 April I don’t receive any email from them.
@@MandeepKaur-uw6nb in the email you will receive the zoom link, the instructions on what to prepare for your Oath and the documents you need to print. If you won’t receive the email yet then maybe they will reschedule your Oath. Try also checking in your SPAM folder maybe it is there.

We actually didn’t had an interview. Before the Oath Taking Ceremony itself, when you Log In to zoom you’ll need to register and they will verify your identity.

Hi congratulations. If you want to have a canadian passport you need to go to your nearest service canada office to apply. They will help you how to do it..

With being ourside of canada I’m not really sure if you can do the Oath taking. I think you have to be in the country to do so but like I said I’m not sure. About passport application you need to go the nearest service canada office to apply for passport but in your case that you are outside of Canada that I cannot ans.

You can read and study the book “Discover Canada”. Me and my husband downloaded an app so we can also do the practice test and it really helped too..
