- All the heats and the B Final from the New Zealand Sidecar GP held at Rosebank Speedway on Sunday 26 March 2017 - there is no A Final as the rain started bucketing down and drowned the track, so the positions were determined by highest to lowest points in all the heat races along with the result from the B Final

@@gordonnelson336 Under FIM regulations, "rider" applies equally to the driver and the passenger on a sidecar. The driver is positioned kneeling in front of the engine with hands near the front wheel, while the passenger moves about the platform at the rear transferring their weight from left to right according to the corner and forward or back to gain traction for the front or rear.
@@gordonnelson336 Nowadays it is common to call the driver the "Pilot", while the passenger has several nicknames: the "Acrobat" used in North America which is no longer in use, and the now common term "Monkey" which originated from Australia. Occasionally the words "Co-Driver" or "Co-Pilot" are also used.

They use 4 stroke engines that run on methanol - are you in NZ or overseas? :)

Engines are usually 4 cylinder, 4 stroke 1000 cc Japanese.
They do this in the USA too, check it out.
The sidecar is to hold those huge ass balls. I've ran stock mods an mod lites on dirt. But this is a whole other level..... lol I kinda wanna try it.
Are both rear wheels powered on these bikes or is just the bikes rear wheel???
The bikes consist of three wheels (2 in-line like a motorcycle and 1 out to the side for the sidecar) only the rear wheel is powered, much like a normal motorcycle.

what do these have in them for a motor?
1000cc road bike engines, usually v twins from the likes of Honda VTR or 4 cylinder from Suzuki GSXR

No footie ,no rugby ball in sight but down here in Fish Hoek CapeTown, I'm enjoying watching this formula speedway. Way back at Goodwood show grounds we use to run some stock cars ,and mx bike on an oval dirt track ,go Kiwi great stuff

No breaks on them and lots of power to get down on the ground on a wet track it would not be good

Normaly at Sidecars the "monkey" aka the gras chopper,- or curbtser.
- Is lying (lyes) in the left`s corners,(aka helmet replacement).
Aye & Nun, a spedway course (curse) the grevel may hurt way to much, therefore the track movement is clockwise.
- To solve this problem they may have to move the sidecar to the right.
But then they have to let the track to go counterclockwise.

There's no prize money the winner wins a wheelchair the second has a coffin the third a funeral . .
lol they can only turn right. And if you think it's boring go have a try at it, they don't have brakes and the passenger helps turn it. It's great fun
certinally more enjoyable then football/soccer! thats so depressingly boring i watched a few minutes once and i would have slit my own wrists if i hadnt of switched it off
