- AHHH THIS WAS A JOURNEY AND BOY WAS IT FUN!!! I'm so so so happy with everyone's works and how they came out together it was so worth hosting this, so I thank you all for this wonderful experience!
Basic premise of the AU - Ashfur in his afterlife is trying to meet Squirrelflight through a Dream Gate and enters her dream. It' s just unexpected the dream is at a tropical island...
Little did he know, because of his arrival, the dream gets out of control and its volcano erupts. But did it affect just the dream or has manifested into the reality itself?

Ashfur and squirrel on this map deserved a better ending, maybe in the alternative ending Ash managed to save the squirrel still alive and the squirrel thanked him for saving her and the two

How is no one talking about the end? I noticed that Squirrelflights eyes had a blue circle around her iris, my theory is that they now share a body possibly?

Still, this map is very interesting! I wonder what happened to them after all that, I hope Squirrelflight's okay! Def a thought provoking ending

I've watched this MULTIPLE times all week, this is such a visually beautiful and intense project! The story was executed so perfectly and with amazing clarity in each shot. Everyone who worked on this did an amazing job!!

Ashfur got to be with Squirrelflight... just not the way either of them wanted.
Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight's relationship was sad. The moment Brambleclaw got into the BiG aRgUmEnT with Squilf, she went straight to Ashfur. It was even mentioned that one point in the series Squilf even slept in the same nest with Ashfur, and it was obvious he truly loved her. Brambleclaw was also pretty abusive during the whole thing, and Squilf had every right to love Ashfur, as much as Brambleclaw hated it. Then the moment Squilf and Brambleclaw forgave each other, they fell in love immediately. Ashfur must have felt like a second choice, probably as if he were backstabbed or cheated on, so he also had every right to dislike "her" kits.
All I'm saying is that Ashfur and Squirrelflight would have probably ended better than Bramble x Squilf. (I don't hate Bramble x Squilf, its just that the relationship dynamic never really worked out.)
the fact that ashfur took over the dark forest with his anger and despair at not having squilf really just screams that he would have been an extremely controlling/possesive/abusive partner
ashfur was willing to kill her kits because he felt hurt, and later got her mate killed and took over his corpse
somebody who could ever do that was always going to be bad
