So, I’m looking at it like this. Europe/London 23. Japan 25. I think that 26 will be in the US and 27 will be Europe again, but this time it’ll be in Germany

@@malekith8447 I think 27 has to be a definite yes purely because of ANH 50th anniversary. I guess they could skip 26, but I think I remember @starwarssith saying that is the year the Mando movie comes out and with all the other projects in the making they have plenty of content to promote
If the writers strike didn't happen then they'd probably have movies to promote in Japan. Now things have been pushed back so a Celebration in 2026 is a real possibility. I'll be online waiting for news from the closing ceremony with Expedia open on another tab just in case 😉

Germany would be sick! But Essen would be kinda meh. Essen and Dortmund are the most realistic because all German Cons are there but the cities suck. Düsseldorf, Munich or Cologne would be dope as the cities are cool.

With the movies coming out it does seem likely they'll have a Celebration, but tbh I'm hoping they'll skip a year. Aside from Japan I've got so many expenses this year, it'd be nice to let my bank account recover for a bit. Also, I'd rather they do something MASSIVE for the 50th than 2 normal cons in a row.

Well, if we get one in 2026, we might get one in 2027, as that's when Star Wars turns 50, and we're getting a new movie that December. Also, since Star Wars turns 50 in 2027, and they have a celebration, I'm hoping that George Lucas attends it, like he did in 2017 for the 40th Anniversary. Yes, I know he'll be 83 by then, but it could be one of the last celebrations he'll be around for, so maybe? And I'm trying to be as respectful as I can here, but George Lucas is getting old, and it could be one of the last celebrations he sees, so fingers crossed.

I agree with the Rey movie not being great for the majority of Star Wars fans. But the problem with the Mando movie is that many fans who haven’t watched the show will have no idea what’s going on 😂
I do agree with you though on the future of Star Wars celebration 100 percent, it just needs to be at least 4 if not 5 days man
