Can anyone explain why the truck company just didn't pull or cut out the gable end ? They just jurk around with the hand line. It looks like if they did they would have gained access to the attic where the seat of the fire was.
I'm just not a arm chair fire buff. Have 27 years in the fire service.

Didn't like the meebers on the ladder on the ladder when it has a master stream and nozzle. I realize it was not set up yet with water but the opening of the siding could have been done with a bucket or not at all not much was done except cooling, and some suppression. Glad people were ok, I hope there were no asbestos bins and everyonewore scba with decon. In contrast saw a 1919 castle with fire suppresion hoses, (fire type hose but garden size with a small nozzle. Felt like hard rubber inside, but looked like a fire hose.)

5:50 they persist in throwing little water through a fissure instead of using the wide gaps of the roof
