“Failed to attack with Grazer. Instant loss of street cred.”
This, CGB, is why we watch and support you 😂
"What is it doing when it's loading our hand"
The shuffler is deciding whether to give you 7 lands or 0 lands
fun fact, someone did a study on that; and proved it's completely rigged.
the first hand will ALWAYS be rigged, no matter the amount of lands in your deck. After the mulligan tho, it shuffles fairly.
@@maximumdunk2656 Can you provide the source? I really wanna see that study
if you still haven't seen it, check out CGB dominating mythic with 13 land decks
Thank you CGB for the things you thought of, at the post-games wrap up outro. And it really felt like it was content just for us here on youtube. I think I speak for everyone when I say it makes me happy that you spend time to think about such details. You're a genuinely good guy, thanks for all the content!
You my friend are a great person too. That's why I love this channel great content and great comments.
Totally agree 👍
The other player is lagging and they are on the play. That is why you don't see your hand. The game connects to a different server and presents the hand once both players have connected.
"There's always a greater power."
The cruelest of ultimatums. Mill.
Mill is by far my favorite archetype, and I love obliterating my friends on turn 4/5, so you have made me a happy CGB fan
Mill players don't have friends
43:00
It's Italy
Could be the flag of the Interim Government of Iran (from CGB's perspective), or the flag of Hungary (from the opponents perspective). Or it is really the Italian (or Mexican) flag, but sideways
Edit: either way, I was hecking disappointed that the opponent wasn't playing naya. Flavor Judge would rate this a no-no.
It's very CGB of you to make it a combo deck instead of the usual mill.
Regular mill is basically Burn for Blue mages anyway!
...Which is why i love it.
Amen
"I used the eighty-card deck to mill the eighty-card deck"
The player's library: Gone, reduced to a graveyard
“Wow, your deck is huge!”
@@Solrex_the_Sun_King * notices your bulging deck boxy woxy OwO *
What About : FRAYING SANITY Out, Then U Cast BRUVAC, Then Cast GLIMPS or ARCHIVE TRAP or TASHA'S HIDEOUS LAUGHTER, Etc...
U Don't Need An 80 Card Deck To Beat An 80 Card Deck...
8 CRAB MILL Deck, Would Totally DESTROY This Deck, lol...
I almost never watch your twitch. I do often get a little exasperated with the thank yous from a stream uploaded to youtube, but if you paused between games to do your call-outs and edited that out, that's better than we deserve
What's In the hand barely matters.
Cries in Vintage
vintage lmao i'm sorry for ya
Thanks for showing me this deck. I really enjoy your sense of humor " That is the attack of a player with a shock!", " I think that I have been scallywaged! and OMG "Thank you RN Jesus THANK YOU!"
I could not tell you were on twitch as well. do what you need to do!
"they have stuff to attend and stuff to enchant" I like that xD
"You look like you should be a frog" 😂😂😂
I anticipated that this would be a Yarok deck. I'm super excited!!
You're creative style, intelligence, and funny banter keep me watching your entire videos. My play is also improving. Thanks for both :-)
"It's a race to see who can do the nonsense first" is the perfect sentence to sum up Standard right now; it sickens me.
Yu gi oh in a nutshell
@@thiccupcake The fact that you could OTK was dope though.
I agree with your standards for a CZcams presentation as opposed to a twitch presentation, they have totally different styles. When I watch CZcams I don’t want to see subs etc., or interaction with others in chat coming in. I had no idea this was recorded during a twitch session so credit to you and have no problems with it all. Also it was a great fun deck too. Keep it up CGB, it’s all good.
oh man, this deck looks like so much fun. I watched both Twitch and the whole video. Then sent it to a buddy cause I know he'll build it right away.
Making an agent player rage quit: you mister, are a cool man, a hero even. It doesn't have the taste of a mill deck though. Opponents quit when too much creatures are put on the board and aren't milled
The best mill wins are unexpected. It's nice to actually win and not to be conceded to.
I really like your perspective on Twitch VOD vs actual CZcams video at the end. I think your way of doing things is great! Couldn't even tell. :)
Highly appreciate what you are doing! And thanks a lot for this video (didn’t realize it was from twitch until you said about it)
Mono red shock to win was hilarious. Perfect ending. Laughed right out loud.
I honestly really appreciate how you make your content! Thank you for being considerate of your viewers!
Super appreciative of your content creation philosophy. It really shows in the quality of your videos.
I didn’t notice any difference in quality between these last two videos and your other ones. It was just as great as it always is.
It was a treat to watch you make the CZcams content while streaming, but you follow whatever path makes the content you want to see. We will support you, it's worked so far.
Great philosophy about youtube content. Thank you for your dedicated work.
I could not tell that this was streamed, but I also don't care about watching CZcams videos where the players is interacting with Twitch chat.
This. It's totally fine.
CGB doesn’t usually stream his CZcams videos. He produces them separately. That’s why I enjoy watching him. I dislike it too when streamers just port streams to CZcams and are constantly interacting with a conversation that we don’t get to be a real part of.
I also could not tell this was streamed (bravo!), but do care about watching a distracted streamer roping his opponent to tell unrelated stories to chat. There are dozens of channels on youtube I don't watch for that reason.
@@undterred What I really like is when they interact with the chat and we can see it. It's when they talk to people that aren't there that gets me.
Loved watching him record this during a twitch session... professional at work here... great fun deck! Well done CGB
Your daily videos are making this lockdown a whole lot better. Thank you.
RNGesus sometimes answers a supplicants prayers. Most of the time he hangs a sign saying Buzz Off.
its the italian flag at 42:51
Porco dio
@@victroiumsheepo8585 Mi associo
It could also be flag of hungary depending on which way you look at it
"ooooooh scumbag" came from the heart, I could hear it. The jank will prevail !
This video was amazing I loved that last match and last turn topdeck, that look was priceless haha
As someone from New Zealand I am never able to catch anyone's streams so I am used to watching stream footage on YT. That being said, this video felt like a specially made YT video, and was entertaining as usual! Thanks for the great content CGB!
I could tell he was excited explaining the deck!
I love the deck! I have a similar build with Syr Konrad. Gravedigger works amazing with Gyruda and odd creatures.
I've been using a jank cauldron/yarok mill deck that Mogwai posted a while ago, its cool to see a version like this!
Gonna be completely honest, when I first saw the “mill” title in the video I was feeling pretty meh. But listening to you explain the deck I got so damn excited. I haven’t even watched you play it yet at the time of writing this and already want to build this lol. Good job mate 👌
Thanks for taking the time to make youtube specific content for us :) a lot of creators just spit out twitch content and don’t realize that it’s so much nicer watching an interactive gameplay without the random twitch nonsense and distractions.
Agreed with your reasoning about youtube content. Loving the videos, both the jank and the spiky.
I absolutely could not tell you had streamed this. As long as you do it like this, I think it works well.
THIS is mill awesome CGB lol nice mario loading segment
CGB: "Jank week takes a lot more time put into the videos to get compelling gameplay that is really worth sharing."
Mono Black Magic(big brain voice): "Am I a joke to you?"
Ya'll need a rematch.
Cool deck btw.
I obviously don't speak for everyone, but I watch a lot of speedrunners of games playing for 8+ hour speedruns and randomizers, During which I love listening to the commentary of them and their chat back and forth. That being said, I also very much enjoy your analytical breakdowns of everything going on in game. I wouldn't want you to sacrifice that completely to be interactive with chat, but even then I don't think you completely would do so. TBH tho, lets be real, I'd still be watching your vids no matter what.
That last game top deck into win was beautiful. Also I think this twitch and CZcams overlap is a good idea every once in awhile for these combo decks. Think you're doing great with balancing your audiences and further think your audience on twitch and YT is willing to work with you a bit especially for quality content like this!
That last game was nuts well done. This plays much smoother than the little Lurrus mill I threw together yesterday
Question, since Thassa triggers at the beginning of the end step, and Yorion returns stuff at the begining of the end step, couldn't you stack the Yorion trigger first and then flicker it again with Thassa? Want to try this on arena but it's very late and I don't want to forget lol
I run Mothra in my normal Gyruda deck mainly for a similar combo where I legend rule gyrudas for extra triggers; have had a few mill wins
The flag is either Italy or Hungary, depending on the orientation.
Assuming the orientation is the same as the other flag-sleeves, it's Italy.
Hungary has orizontal stripes, that would be vertical on the sleeve and Italy the opposite
4:29 This needs to be added to the "This is Mono-red" song.
Also, this is the single most absurd mill deck I've seen in standard.
Thank you for your hardwork with your CZcams videos
17:50 Nintendo didn't have loading screen lol. Get off my lawn
Worked for me. Didn't figure it was a stream.
Awesome deck. Will try.
EPIC GAMES!!! THANKS, CGB.
Great video. Couldn't tell this was recorded on twitch at all!
"Neoform a grazer into Fblthp with Yarok on the field"
For some reason, that sounds really satisfying.
literally couldn't tell for one second you were recording this on twitch. Excellent work CGB
This might be the most fun deck I've seen you play. It is a shame that it is probably too slow for the current meta. By the way, where did you get the "they play mono red" song? I really love it. I can't get it out of my head.
I appreciate your only youtube conten desicission
I have a question. Can you play a neoform into a not escaping uro and get a 4 mana creature?
Sweet mill action in 2020 👌
Love this decklist! Jank week is the best week =)
They have places to be and things to enchantment! Excellent.
When the game is waiting before showing your hand your opponent is AFK and the game is waiting for them to decided who is on the play.
I couldn't even tell you recorded this video while streaming. Nice games!
Great vid! I'm loving this jank week! Watch out for your mic though, the volume tunes up and down randomly...
Love the content, you have such good games
It's a very CGB-type of jank deck ^^" It's basically a meta Gyruda mill deck with a few copies of Sphinx Mindbreaker for the fun that didn't hit the battlefield once in the video >.
Love this video!
Great video and I couldn't tell it was streamed on Twitch! You may have actually may have hit the holy grail for MTG content creation, as I agree it's not as nice to watch Twitch reruns on CZcams when chat is involved. However doing it this way, Twitch viewers get to see your content first and as a CZcams viewer, I don't feel that I somehow missed out. Also, having Patreons have a say in deck selection is a great incentive to support you that way as well. Well done!
"Failed to attack with grazer. Instant loss of street cred." 😂
What a deck man!
Lost to dimir flash...that hurt...fun deck-thanks
Hey cgb the only thing i could recommend for jank would be an awesome zirda combo deck deck. Cheers mate appreciate your work verymuch
I made a mill deck combining Thousand Year Storm and Merfolk Secrect keeper. When I am not up against mono red Agro the matches tend to be very fun.
Thanks for the vid. I very rarely go on Twitch. It's just easier to have 1 video site to log into. I got a sick non-meta deck if you ever take suggestions.
12:15 can't you manually order the triggers so that yorion's end step return comes back before thassa's trigger, allowing you to target the mindbreaker with thassa?
I think you need to target it at the same time, so even though you can order them, you cannot target at the right time.
Him filing his privlage had me rolling
Magnificent milling.
Recording live, might add in something you can trigger at the beginning of it that says "This hot jank is filmed before a live stream audience." or something like that.
No idea this content was originally live. I'd recommend doing more of that if it benefits you and others. I don't see a draw-back.
42:34 The Trostani avatars are because it was on a daily deal for very cheap a few days ago
I don't mind the talking to a twitch audience, when you are explaining your plays or talking about the brewing. Depending on the subject I don't mind off-topic subjects. I enjoy listening to Day9 talk about AI and programming. I don't care for the thanks for subscription type stuff so I get your point.
As for the Mutate deck, I tend to play a lot of that so I don't care if other people play them. The only cool thing that I haven't seen other people do is play either Kaya's ghost form or Teferi's time twist on a mutated creature. It was glorious, I had Kaya on a mutated creature and my opponent spent their turn and two burn spells to turn one of my creatures into 3. The conceded the game after that error. Or there was another game and they try to board wipe so I time twisted myself a victory.
Anywho those were some fun games to watch.
I had great doubts about a Mill deck in Standard. Your deck turned out very cool though!
It does bug me when I see a video that is clearly ported from Twitch. Honestly I see the lack of ported content as one of the greatest features of this channel; there are some channels out there with great, entertaining players that I just struggle to enjoy at all because they're mostly Twitch content. I just can't handle listening to the one-sided conversations, maybe it's just me.
I'm fine with it if the Twitch interactions are cut out, like what CGB did here.
But as a matter of duplicate content, it could cut down on views. I saw part of yesterday's video on Twitch, and didn't watch it again; today's, I hadn't seen yet.
Playing standard in 2020 : each player draws 7 cards, puts them down face up, each player takes turns drawing cards until they assemble their wincon, whoever does so first wins.
10:06 Take these next 3 sentences out of context and CGB is suddenly creepy
oh my goodness it is so creepy
Thanks CGB
OMG, that shock-ing face!-)
You made me watch a twitch stream?! Agent of Treachery, thy name is CGB!
If you hadn't brought it up at the end I wouldn't have known. Still the same great stuff you put out every day.
Haaa nice pull!! Nice deck.
Love your videos such a joy! Since there is so much good land ramp these days why not try to abuse Dread Presence in a deck? Could be fun!
17:50 CG8: covert goes 8 bits 🤣
The best deck from you, I want to build that deck in real magic
This looked so fun lmao
Thank you for the askhiok explanation, I feel like I need that slap in the face. I literally try to pidgeonhole x4 of her into every dimir or mill deck
Glad I could help!
You're a shameless monster.
