    "I know they're not working that hard" - yeah, no fan of the ebikes. I was about to pull the trigger on the Hunt 4050s on my State 6061 because their sexy and lower-priced carbon but the weight and cost of the gravel race is tempting. How long did it take them to deliver yours?

      It was actually a really quick turn around. Had them in a few days. I think they have a distributor in Colorado

    Hey there, thank you for the review! How do you like them after a year? I‘m interested in buying them but am a bit confused that there are almost no reviews of them. They are crazy light. For the price

      I can't for the life of me figure out why there aren't more gravel riders on these wheels and doing videos on them. Everyone just gets the 4 seasons wheelset I guess. But to answer your question, they are holding up great. No issues. Put them through plenty of abuse.

      @@acebikemedia Thanks a lot for the insights! Sounds like a good choice in this case. Yeah the 4 season seem way more popular even tough they are heavier and not that much cheaper

    So I assume you’re on the 6061 AllRoad. Curious how much the bike weighs now after the wheel swap

      I am on the 6061. I haven't weighed it in a minute and I do have it pretty heavily modded right now. All budget parts, but last I checked it was around 20 lbs.

    They are charging $699 now for some reason.

    What brake solution did you end up going with the All Road?

    • @acebikemedia
      @acebikemedia  Před rokem +1

      I cycled through a lot of different calipers and brake pads and at the end of the day I determined that the biggest thing is changing out the brake housing. Jagwire cables/housing with TRP spire calipers are working amazing

      @@acebikemedia I love the bike but the brakes seem pretty unsafe at times. I’ll look into replacing housing when I switch up calipers. Thank you!

      I know exactly what you mean. I would agree. They are dangerous. I do think that your braking power would be greatly increased if you just swapped the cables and housing. The calipers are dual piston so in theory they should be good.
