In this episode, I rebuild a bridge that goes up and over the shed in my backyard. The existing tree roll ended up being rotted, so we built a brand new feature that helps build speed for the rest of the trail.

In this video, I use a bobcat to move a ton of dirt to build a dirt switchback section. It has two berms and the first one doubles as a shark fin jump. This was done a lot with the machine, followed by a lot of hand work. I don't normally build mountain bike features out of dirt but this one was very satisfying to build and ride.

In this video, I rebuild the first feature of my backyard free ride mountain bike trail. In this video, we tear apart the bridge for the first drop and rebuild it with new wood. We also make the dirt landing taller with a farther gap. We did a lot of wood work and dirt work with the bobcat and compactor.

Seen some reviews. But since it’s only small and medium size (although says up to 6’3), do you think it’ll actually fit over 6’1 riders
Without seeing a large it's very hard to say. You may be able to do things to make it fit bitter like stem and seat position. It's just nice to see they are finally offering sizes now, not just one size fits all.
I almost bought one after watching videos it did seem really small I almost thought the tag maybe wrong. I decided against buyin because I have cheap trek mtb with touring setup already.
I almost said what if someone else needs a bike but I have another long travel hardtail with bigger kendas already. Might get it for my brother it does seem too nice
This bike is the real deal. My local bike shop was shocked that is was only $248. They said it is easily aa good as any &700-800 bike.

I just got one and took it for a ride yesterday. It's a lot of fun, can't wait to mount things to it. The most confusing part for me was the front gear, you have to shift it 3 times to change gears, and I thought you'd only have to press it once. With no gear indicators, I didn't know what I was doing wrong. Haven't rode it in pants yet, but I'm concerned they'll get caught in the chain with no cover.
That's interesting. You shouldn't have to push the front shifter more than once. It also should only have two clicks. Maybe the the front derailleur isn't set quite right. As far as pants go, if they aren't too baggy you should be ok. Have fun. Seems like an awesome bike
The front derailleur does have an extra click. It helps sort of like a “trim” helping to get it lined up to avoid rubbing.
this is a feature. as you change gears on the rear derailleur and the chain moves to the extreme left or right cogs, you can do 1 click on the front derailleur to do a “1/2” shift so the front derailleur cage does not rub on the chain. it only took me a year to figure this out on my 2 speed Microshift brifters.
Walmart seems to be upping their game, but only time will tell how good this bike really is. Can't wait to see a one year review, but in stock form.

that is part of having carbon frame mountain bike. depend on how you ride, it will have impact on how long frame will last. I have fatbike carbon frame bike for over ten years because I do repairs on week spot before chance to break. most carbon frame bikes have weak areas you need to pay attention to after each ride and if you don't it will break

Picked one up on closeout for $499 !! Freakin epic deal, and absolutely no complaints, handles, rides and rolls like a champ !!! I changed the pedals, saddle, and added a 2nd layer of tape on the bars and im golden !!! Will Probably add compressionless brake cable housing asap. Other than that,this thing surpassed all my expectations.

I just bought dri-fit shirts and basketball shorts at first, waaaay cheaper than named mtb brands when the fabric is all the same. As I get more into the sport, I bought bib shorts and stretchable mesh pants. Saved a lot of money tbh.

I just buy the expensive stuff in the middle of winter. 140 dollar shorts for 40 bucks and really expensive nice jerseys for 20 bucks but no one can complain about a cheap kit! Where is this place in Milwaukee is it part of oak creek? or somewhere else?
I'm the same. Usually buy the good shit off season when it's cheap. But yea I wish that trail would get revived. It's part of the old rock bike park in Franklin wi. If your looking for flow and jumps, check out heritage bike park in slinger. 30-45 min north of Milwaukee depending on where your coming from. I just posted a sweet reel on our Instagram page from riding there yesterday.

Yea I guess technically you are allowed to ride them. I climb the ski hill at least once everytime I go so I hit the jumps on the way down.

It's behind the luxe golf bays. You enter by luxe and wheel and sprocket and head towards the ski hill. It's right in the corner of the parking lot.

That bike would break in a real mtb trail, the rear link looks like thin sheet metal
Cheap kit is all I use. $30 wrangler atg pants for under 50F and some walmart special shorts with regular liner for $15 that they dont make anymore. Ill snag a pair of those shorts for sure! Man that abandoned jump trail is better than some folks local trails!
I got the wrangler atg has well. Love those pants! The abandoned trail could be so much better if the local club had interest in getting reopened. It's technically part of a bit of a land dispute

How does that downhill jump trail not get maintained? I’d think everyone would want ride it all the time!
Your telling me. It's very frustrating. There was some legality issues and land disputes. The local MTB club did nothing to help. Actually made the situation worse in my opinion. Now it's sort of a local forgotten relic unfortunately

I like CostCo's Spyder brand of generic athletic wear. The tops are 2 for 25$ Canadian, and they run longer in the back so they do not ride up. The long sleeve cool gear is pretty sweet for cold weather riding as well.
