Inexpensive Effective Treatment for Splay leg

Spraddle leg of commonly known as Splay Leg Normally happens to pigeons when the nest bottom is to slick or when there is only one chick.
I have seen others and I have successfully used a short piece of Paracord used to hitch the legs together.
Last breeding season I used a rubber band and 2 snap rings with great results.

I’ve done something similar for quail, chickens and emu chicks with splayed legs. They tend to heal up nicely.

Yes, it worked great. Actually that particular bird is now in California in a small one loft race
