I love when Shay is around. Thank you!🙏
Late 60's were my favorite fashion photos.
This one video with all the explanations helped me heaps. The thought process, the fighting with the light.
Thanks.
Glad it helped!
Nicely demonstrates how important it is to get your model to be on the move in front of your camera !
So great to see you working the lights and see the pictures happening.
There is a great film about Bailey called "We'll Take Manhattan."
Have you seen it?
Exactly what you guys are doing .
Excellent.
Thanks for sharing 🎉
Yes I have, loved it
I love the sharp movements she is doing more real than slow movements. Unposing the act of looking like you are in a natural position and not looking like you are doing that position on purpose. Love it Peter you are my inspiration.
Thanks heaps
I just watched Blow-Up the other week, ahh.
I love how easy it seams. There is a certain feeling, an emotion that I get from these images. Great work always a pleasure to see you and your team work.
Thank you very much!
Awesome!! I always learn something from your videos. Peter and Bec are a great team. Thank you for the sample video.
Our pleasure!
Cool, cool
Many thanks for this new behind the scenes.
@B: Many thanks for introducing, recording and closing the session. You have set a very high standard, as professional partner.
@S: Many thanks for posing in this session. I like a lot when Models travel through the time, because photography equipment (technologically) evolves, but does it happen the same with posing, or should we say that it only changes? I always have a lot of fun watching how you pose; it's like attending a play.
@P: Many thanks for this 60’s flashback. Question: in the past, photographers didn’t have access to the lighting equipment we have today, do you think they would have done better if they had it? I am aware this is not easy to answer. I love it when the spotlights point directly at the Models, I hope it's not a nuisance for them.
Waking up to beauty.
Johnny Cash rules the day!
very interesting shoot. electronic cigarette? never thought about that for a prop (if the model doesnt smoke but you need it for 'the look')
Thanks
Just love these simple lighting setups Peter - Thank you ..... BTW is that the Manfrotto boom arm? Best Regards
Thanks, yes it is the mega boom
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer I have got to get one of those once I find enough space to use it. BTW I got my SL3 .... Can't wait to use it in a couple of weeks after my move to Italy. Best of luck to you and Bec on the Euro Tour.
Did you think about a classic Bailey white background for the 60's vibe?
yes but I wanted my twist
I know it is not interesting nor relevant, but anyway would want gear discussion vid about are you going to move on of Hassels or stay until them breaks or what.
at this stage stay until it breaks
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer Ok, thank you, this pretty much sums it up.
I am wondering - in the full body shot - if you shoot from a lower angle and add some space above Shays`s head, would she still look short?
yes we tried it in the setup, it was her boots that her look short
Hello Everybody!
completely off topic however, seeing that rabbit I can't help but recall the fabulous Jimmy Stewart film 'Harvey'. Have you seen it?
no I haven't
Is that Bec in a Bromley on the back wall?
yse
Bec, I don't see this vid on Inspire??
This one was a CZcams only, but after we shot this we shot the 'Shay Playdate' which is Inspire only and you will find under the 'Photoshoots' area on Inspire
@@PeterCoulsonPhotographer I see one from back in March...
Yes it was shot in March, we put content on Inspire first as it is a paid platform
Lobely
Hey Peter, please allow a episode where fans submit images and you critique them?
You should be taking photos for yourself not for others and the only person who can take your work issue because you're the only person who knows what you're trying to create. I never critique other photographs or artist work because it's in the eye of the beholder which should be the creator.
I agree with Peter. There is way to much critiques going on and people thinking they are doing a good thing making videos about it. You need to develop your own artistic vision. What ever you like. What ever you can imagine. It's your art. If people don't like it bad luck to them.
