INCREDIBLE Self-Drive Safari In Kruger National Park | SOUTH AFRICA

- Let's start our South African adventure with a SAFARI!
After a 20 hour travel day, we made it to Johannesburg. We were blessed to be joined by Tommy's parents for this adventure, Tom and Jackie. We headed to our Airbnb in Marloth Park. Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern end of Kruger National Park. It was the perfect place to stay because it was only a 30-minute drive to the main southern entrance to Kruger National Park and it has its own wildlife and boasts four of the big five. In Marloth park, you are able to walk around freely with the animals.
Kruger National Park is a breathtakingly beautiful wildlife reserve in South Africa. It has an incredibly diverse selection of animals and terrain and is world-renowned for housing the "Big-5". On our first day in the park, we were able to see elephants, giraffes, buffalo, a leopard, and SO MUCH MORE!

Visiting a Park in South Africa would be a dream come true!
For us South Africans going to the kruger is like our therapy. Best type of therapy out there.
So jealous! Wish I had that type of therapy near our home town. It truly is the best 💯!!

Absolutely fantastic! We didn't realize it was even possible to do a drive through self-safari. We had looked into safaris and they all looked too expensive. This video gives us hope and some other options. Thank you so much - loving your channel!
Oh wow thanks! Yup, we talk a little more about the park pass cost and logistics of self-drive in our next video but it is 100 % the way to go. Rent a car and you're on your way for some wildlife sightings!

I was actually surprised with your bird identification very good, although the kingfisher was a browed hooded kingfisher and that was a juvenile bateleur eagle not a brown snake eagle 😄either way your id skills where top notch👌🏻

We have some questions if you don't mind please,for a 3 months trip where would you recommend us to stay/live which (accommodation) option would be the best to go for since hotels can be too expensive for such a long trip

South Africa is an incredible place to land in, but please read up about how these african wild animals behave, their needs, their territorial defence. They are dangerous for good reason. They need to survive in the harshest environment. It is their land. If people respect that, and keep their windows rolled up we will see fewer tourist self-inflicted, reckless tragedies.
Also how to cope with a sudden attack.
Hoping tourists will keep learning how to be truly responsible in these precious, environments. 👍🌱😍🐅
no you dont need to keep your windows up 99% of the times the animals are more scared of you than you are of them but dont hang out of your vehicle but this was a great video
and the main reason some animals charge is if they have a baby and they think your threatening them or their baby or
And rhinos have bad eye sight so they arent 100% sure your not trying to like attack them or your just watching so because they dont know if your like hunting them or your just chillin they might charge
and if a elephant is one side of your vehicle and the herd is the other side it might think your singling it off from the herd so you can like hunt it so then it might charge
