About Us!
We're Sammy and Tommy, an adventure travel couple exploring the world one destination at a time. Our shared love of travel brought us together in 2013. We were both living in the small town of Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. While we enjoyed the slow-paced beach life for a couple of years, we decided it was time for a new adventure and returned to the US. In March of 2019, with enough savings, we left our jobs and headed to our first destination. With Tommy’s love and passion for photography and video, we decided to share our experiences with friends and family. Our travel year took us to so many amazing places but ended in March of 2020 as the pandemic began to spread. While the pandemic sidetracked us, it gave us the opportunity to to begin editing massive amounts of footage and creating our travel videos. With a desire to share the amazing places we’ve experienced and to encourage people to travel, we started our CZcams channel, “Sammy and Tommy.” Enjoy!

Heyo, Hungarian here (coincidentally I live in Romania for almost 4 years now). :) I have to make a correction here. "Hungarians do not put garlic in goulash" - that is simply not true. We put garlic in frikkin everything. :D So maybe not every hungarian (I feel sorry for them), but generally speaking yes, we do put garlic in the gulyás. ;)

I am living in Tainan, The guy was wrong! Most of Taiwanese won't agree that Taiwan is belong to China. Taiwan is just a independent country , and China is a neighbour who are keep saying that Taiwan is part of them!

Thank you!! It always helps traveling as 2 couples because splitting the price makes it much more affordable for everyone and we can typically score nicer places. We just do the normal searches on booking, airbnb, etc. Those are our main 2 though and try and travel shoulder season as much as possible.
