    I LOVE VIDS LIKE THIS
    feedback:
    - music is too loud
    - the narration is too fast
    other than that, nice vid!

      and it takes 1:40 in the video to show any controllers. and 2:20 in the video until the 1st controller in the list is shown. so boring. i almost clicked off when you were reading off wikipedia for 2 minutes. you do not need to be mr.beast constantly flashing colors on the screen and talking to get our attention. its good content though.

    I really wish the GameCube came out in more colours. I've got the four main colours, but that pink GameCube looks amazing, as does the gold one (I've got the gold N64 and Game Boy Pocket, and both are incredible to look at). The teal colour used on the devkits looks great too.
    Probably won't be all that long before someone mass-markets a replacement shell like they have for the N64.

    Damn, I thought this was a channel with a load more subs, This is a really well made video dude! Earned a sub.
    I really like the N64 buttons colour scheme, I think it's interesting to think that it could've been the official GameCube controller if it wasn't for the redesign

    For a channel with only 600 subs (I'm the 600th one :) ) I think you editing is fantastic. I would maybe notch down the volume of the music a little bit. Thanks!

    The main thing I don't like on the GameCube controller is that the handgrips are not angled out enough. Interestingly, according to what you showed, they did experiment with different angles.

    Great video. However, and not to be a â˜đŸ»đŸ§‘đŸ»â€đŸ«, but the A button on the original GameCube controllers was the same indigo as the Z button, despite the mockup 'render' having more of a blue A button. I actually think it was a real Spaceworld wired controller, but Nintendo painted it and took a pic of it under slightly different lightning, which is why A looks blue.

    You missed the revolution prototype controller off the list.
    That is the most important controller because that is what turned the GameCube into the Wii.
    That controller basically enabled Nintendo to re-invent the GameCube as a Wii and sell another 100 million systems without having to develop a whole new console.

    • @Kony20XX
      @Kony20XX  Pƙed 4 měsĂci

      Respectfully it’s literally known as the “Nintendo Wii Revolution Alternate Prototype Controller” lmaoo; this vid doesn’t cover the Wii’s development but yeah, that controller is definitely cool/important!

    • @Louis16261
      @Louis16261 Pƙed 4 měsĂci

      @@Kony20XX No it is not. The "Wii" name did not exist when this controller was developed.
      In the SDK it is called DEV_Core and DEV_Freestyle
      It is a GameCube controller, it only works on a GameCube, it does not work on a Wii.
      There were multiple prototype controllers that used GameCube chasis with added dpd sensor and accelerometer.
      The only difference between these and the ones in your video is that these are prototypes developed after the console had been released.
      If the GameCube had sold better Nintendo would likely have released the motion controller for it, but they realised they could use it as a selling point for their next system.

    I can barely hear what you are saying because you speak in very fast bursts with long pauses between. Overplayed by music that's much too load. My advice would be to really reduce the music or chose music with less rhythm. And also to take your time speaking and edit down the gaps between. The information is really interesting and video otherwise we'll edited but trying to hear you is like trying to pick out a voice in a night club. I can just about do it but it's a lot of effort.

    Do you know the story about the Wii Classic controller it was shown behind close doors in 1996 for the N64 for release in 1997. There was a Sony rep inside who took that idea for there DuelShock controller for the PS1 and released it in 1997 . Nintendo never released it until the Wii. I found out about this story at E3 2001 from someone that work for EGM that was the year of the Gamecube announcement.

    • @Kony20XX
      @Kony20XX  Pƙed rokem

      @@Kony20XX I don't think this was ever reported. I found out from a EGM employee when I attended E3... The stories I used to here from E3 especially how Sony was blocking AAA games from coming to the Gamecube. Sony is still monopolizing the game market today. My last E3 was 2017 I've seen every console launch.
