This looks pretty interesting- love the clashing between modern and medieval aesthetic while still retaining that classic ATLUS style

Before anyone asks (again) the game will also be on PS4/5 and PC. Some people already forgot that Xbox has an advertising deal with Sega.
I think one of the problems is that not a lot of people know the deal happened in the first place.
@@MrSentinel07 Then again, it's been over a year when this was made note of when the multiplatform ports of P3P, P4G, and P5R were teased at the Xbox showcase and people were worried they were locked to Xbox until it was told otherwise 3 days later.

Doesnt mean they dont have timed exclusivity. It really is strange that they just arent showing the other platforms at all

Old school RPG will never die..thanks to atlast.. I hate beat'em up RPG's ... and how they took over the scene. too much button mashing when youre supposed to be thinking and strategizing.

@@jimmythegamer2231 Persona 3 Reload is the only one on that list I'm looking forward to, and I didn't know it was getting a TGA trailer.
I'm really happy there's a new Jet Set Radio, that series has been neglected for so long. But it's not a series I'm personally into. Other than that, Visions of Mana was the only TGA trailer that interested me.

Seeing Jet Set Radio finally be revived after waiting for like 20 or so years and seeing Blade get a video game were personally the most exciting parts of the game awards, but the MetaPhor and Persona 3 Reload trailers were definitely up there. Persona 3 Reload is currently my most anticipated game of 2024.

I can see Chihaya in that design now too. I never considered Akihiko looked like Yu tho lol.

Ngl I thought of Fire Emblem Three Houses seeing this as well, not that the gameplay will be remotely similar though.
Another whole new game from hashino... great and original, so much new and unique, I am sure it will be nominated for goty 2024 at game awards, and sure it will get high critics!!
For me it's like p6, very exciting to put my hand into this large journey!
It's hard to tell if either this or Persona 3 Reload will be nominated for GOTY in 2024... I think both will be easy contenders

Persona 3 Reloaded to start the year and Metaphor: ReFantazio to end it in a good fashion! Both on PC on launch. I really like the high fantasy vibes of Metaphor. It can be a great fantasy experience!
And now we have gotten a SMT V Vengeance on PC with new story line, improved combat systems and new demons. And ALL of this in 2024. Absolutely crazy!

@@danknhshinki73 I think the reason Atlus being with Sega makes more sense is because Nintendo already has Xenoblade and Fire Emblem. Why would they want another RPG??? Sega on the other hand could use some RPGs.
We know that Yakuza 8, Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor: ReFantazio are coming in 2024, but what if they bring back Shining Series or Valkyria Chronicles series?@@orangeslash1667
Oh my Goodness!!! I don't know how to process all this. First of all, you got Shoji Meguro back as composer. You have the concept and mechanical designer from the people that made Nier: Automata and Evangelion. The game reminds me of Fire Emblem in aesthetic but the gameplay in the open world reminds me of Xenoblade (one character looks like a freakin' Nopon) but it has the turn based RPG mechanic and UI style of Persona. It's like it added all the great things from many iconic games and added them into one. The animation looks comparable to a high budget anime like JJK or Demon Slayer. I am so excited for this new IP for fall 2024. Atlus really is cooking with Persona 3 Reload, Sega got Yakuza too, and GTA 6 is going to be on 2025. We are truly in the gold age of video games and I'm happy to witness this.

Falcom already did something like this in The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, which came out in Japan over two years ago (and will be coming to the West next summer).

The mix of real time and turn based combat looks intriguing. Love the "persona" flourishes and style in combat and presentation. And looks like a blend of SMT as well.
