They also do sportscards and autographs - I just got 5 cards back today. 😊
I might have to try them out for sports cards!
I sent some cards in I was pretty sure were 10's came back 8-9's. I definitely think their grading scale is harder than most more on the CSG side, vs PSA. I sent in some more curious to see what they come back, have not had a 10 yet from them.
@@Andy-zz9zz I agree with this. I actually just sent some more in as well, so we'll see how it goes.
I really like the looks of the degree slabs! Seems like the grading is pretty spot on. The box they come in is GORGEOUS! I think the QR on the back is a pretty neat feature and I love that the color of the label changes with the grade you receive. I’d definitely consider them if I were to get a card graded. Great video Ren and congrats on the Dragonite 10!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the review. I'll be trying out other companies in the future as well, then compare.
The degree grading is annoyingly accurate ! I only use them. I think we should all start using smaller grading companies. PSA sucks.
I’ve used them and continue to use Degree. I love the color coding system for cataloging. It’s easy for me to color code catalog my cards. I’m breaking slabs at other companies to send them to get regraded by Degree. Congrats on the 10.
I agree, love the color coding system they have. They are a company worth sending cards to for sure.
@@RensCollectibles solid! Thanks for sharing. More need to her this. Other companies, who shall regain nameless, are far too inconsistent. And that includes the top card grading companies.
I'm about to send some in, thanks for the review!! 🙏
Glad I could help!
@@RensCollectibles yes, me too, thanks!
Just sent some of my PC out for grading. I like the price and they seem legit.
They definitely are worth it to get slabbed up and display!
Love watching actual people (not scalpers) who don't kill their co-workers for promotion or blow through all their generational wealth to open hundreds of booster cases and buy gem mint 10s to look cool on CZcams. It's refreshing and makes me respect my hobby that has been tainted by bored man-childs who can't play sports. More power to you and your collection!
Not bad at all! Glad you got some decent grades that Dragonite is awesome. I like the label on Degree.
I really like the label too. And I'm glad that Dragonite was the 10. :)
Their point system is too low. Very hard to establish a “grade” when there is such a small range but that is just my opinion
That's a fair assessment! Maybe in the future they'll increase the point scale.
Glad you got that dragonite back as a 10! Makes me happier knowing it was that solid of condition too. Really you should thank Artemis because she sent me the packs I pulled it from 😂 one big paying it forward
I'll have to thank her too, but the buck stops here. This slab isn't leaving my possession now lol.
Thanks Ren. I love slab videos and you had a ton to look at.
I am going to look at Degree right now!
Thank you for watching! I love slab deals. :)
Watched a few videos on them now. I think I’m definitely going to try them out to at least slab some cards I like. But it seems like the minus 4 points for dents and creases no matter how big or small can make or break your card regarding other graders. But I also like that they look at them in depth. I’m gonna invest in some slabs and also hope that the company moves up in grading to maybe make it a top 4 business. Hopefully but people love the classics. Great job on the dragonite 😇
Yeah I think they're worth trying at least once. They don't hand out grades like some other companies, so I like the honesty, even if it can be brutal.
But their top rating is an 11 so a 10 from them is a less than a 9 in the major grade companies.
An 11 is their version of a perfect card. I've gotten only 2 out of 100+ submissions. Surface, Corners/Edges & Centering all need to be 99% or above (and of course the crease/dent is a card killer). If any hit 98% it will come back a Gem 10. Hope that helps explain. Love how they grade. They actually grade harder than PSA. I took a PSA 9 out of slab and sent to degree. Came back an 8.
Hi, Hello there. I'm a little confused. Could I get some help please? I have the submit forms printed out. On the page(card list) there's a small box saying IMPORTANT: You will be charged for return shipping costs with insurance solely based on the value that you write on this form(s). The Total is Value of the cards that I'm sending in is roughly $240.00. Are they going to hit me with the Insurance value of these cards and shipping plus the $50 for 5 cards?
No, just the cost of grading the cards is what you pay after they complete grading. The insurance is applied during transit to and from them at no cost to you. 2 months later, but hope that helps.
How did you get your cards back. I sent mine in. A month later nothing. Can't call they don't respond to emails
Their processing times may be over a month, but I did get email updates as to what step they were on.
They emailed my two weeks ago and said. February 16th or sooner they will be done. I've emailed and messaged them nothing now. And the phone number is nothing.
I dont have any graded cards but these look cool
Pefect from degree is 11 not 10
🔥🔥🔥
i'm planning to send my pokemon cards to degreegrading but i still need time xd.
I'm sure they'll be there for a while, so don't rush!
not bad, gonna send some Michael Jordan and Luka Doncic Cards soon, wish me luck lol
I like cgc better 🥴🥴🥴
CGC is a great company as well!
