I have this exact issue but a 92 hardbody and saw this other video of a guy with a Miata with almost the same exact sound , his solution was a circle piece that fits into that hole on top of the clutch he had the same color plastic bits too. I believe it was for the idler switch or something along those lines. Another quick fix I had was the brake lights wouldn’t turn off and it turned out to be the rubber bushing that presses against a button telling the lights to turn off when not engaged, so I took a bolt 2 washers and a nut to replace the bushing and it works perfectly. (Learned that from another CZcams video just look up brake lights won’t turn off Nissan hardbody it should pop right up)

My car is doing the same thing. I was told it's the clutch pedal pivot bushing wearing out.
The end of the spring has jumped out of the hole- there is 3 holes.....it a l bend rod... it hard to see
very hard to see but there is 3 holes and 3 l bends 1994 hb
What's the part that needs replaced call? Clutch spring?
BTW - Thanks :)
@@weekendhomeprojects The plastic holders for the spring are cracked...so you need those...
@@weekendhomeprojectsI have a similar issue with my car 2018 plate. Wondering if the part resolved the issue
Having same issues did you fix yours?
Not yet. I believe it’s the broke piece that I found a part of. I think the clutch switch is popping off the side of it making that noise. Got a replacement at Autozone (generic part) and will make a vid of putting it on this week.
My truck just started making this noise. Strangely I also have a hardbody. I just searched “clicking clutch pedal” in Google and your vid came up. Did you ever solve this?
No not yet. Need to replace the timing chain so haven’t driven it but a few times since I made this video.
Think it the slave cylinder
The clicking sound might just be cause of all the parts connected to and that involve the clutch pedal?! They tend to develop a little bit of play from prolonged use. These trucks are old after all. Lol
Yeah, true. Next non-rainy day we get I'm going to poke around a little more. Going to replace that broken part and spray some WD40. There's not many pieces moving around down there, but there is a spring that's got a weird shape that allows a piece to move into it's opening. You may be right that something is going on there due to age and wear. I'll post another video once I do some more digging.
Took out my spring its still clicking..
Really. Wonder what it is.
@@weekendhomeprojects Sachs MC replaced it with 29 yo nissan clik gone
Missing part that goes in that hole 😅
One would think...fingers crossed.
