I have my sideburns faded while the rest of my beard is long. It eliminates that poofy look on the sides of my face. Always touch up my cheek line every morning. Once you have a long beard, it’s important to keep it tidy so people don’t think you’ve given up on life.

Great vid Greg. I recently watched some of Jeffs videos. He was on Beardbrand a few times several years ago. He hasanother channel now and seen him mention this and how if he were bald he would do it this way. Although I have done it like this severely is back. I started recently doing it again since watching that video. Your video was much more detailed though , I appreciate it.

Great beard brother. I've been growing my beard for awhile now I'm 35 and I have a couple grey hairs in my beard lol. I can't seem to except that I'm getting some grey hairs I started plucking them lol. I think I'm going to embrace the grey and let them grow in.

Also noticed where your beard leaves near your ear it's a straight line to the corners of your mouth. Was this intentional?

Never used them
Ive been doing my cheekline since my teens.... Have had to. I have broad high cheekbones, so my beard comes up beneath my eyes otherwise like Wolverine LOL.... Guess what they called me in high school lol.
It suits you, but for me, it would be a little too groomed/manicured. Someone once 'joked' that my beard was fake, because it looked so 'perfect', and it made me feel super uneasy, so I feel more secure (ie less insecure) when its a little less perfect. I'm slightly concerned about how close the blade was getting to your eye though. In this specific case, I think you'd be safer to go with the grain than against it. You may have to do an extra pass with the razor but it would be safer for your eyes.
Believe it or not, some viewers have accused me of having a fake beard.
My eyes are really in any danger from the cartridge. I’ve been doing it for a long time.

@@GregBoswell428 I dont know how any of your viewers could even think such a thing. You cant do the type of on-camera grooming you do on a fake beard. Beards can be quite an emotive subject though... the last time I saw my mother before she died in 2021, I could see that she kept staring at my beard and that she was desperate to say something, and when she eventually did, it was to tell me that I looked like a 'bloody idiot'.

I have to keep my beard high on the cheeks to hide my dimples. Always self conscience about them because everybody always so conveniently point them out to me. Never cared for that!
Good video but nope sorry i prefer the older look , straight across at the top of the ear . Im bald too with a BIG beard and ill stick with your older way of trimming sideburns with the 3, 2, 1 fade. Thanks for the video
