Hey Griff I'm about to pull the trigger on a DA3S! I also want to do a 934 RSR, do you think you could share the setup and list of upgrades/tires you're using? Thanks!

      Hey!
You can find some information about my build, and the used parts in these two video:
      - Tips about the body, parts lists: czcams.com/video/qrU8KbBTlfY/video.html I've ended up not using all of them, but that also mentioned in the video, check the video description too!
      - Some building tips, and part lists I've used for the build: czcams.com/video/ulJmI9YZ3rk/video.html Please check the video description too!
      - Bonus adwise: If you are using wide+3.5 wheels (instead of wide+1.5) at the back you don't need the longer lower arm and the cvd extension to be able to achieve 84mm width at the rear
      - Setup wise I'm using pretty basic setup (I don't have a detailed setup video yet.):
      - front: toe-out: 4 degree, camber 5 degree, caster: 2.5 degree
      - rear: toe-in: 0 degree, camber: 2 degree, -
      - servo tilt: 5 degree
      - servo arm: short position
      - servo holders screws at the bottom: screw centers are 4mm from the front of the gap
If you need more help. Feel free to contact with me.

Did you decided the livery? Are you planning to do street or race version?

@@griffsminircdrift awesome! Thank you so much for this great information I can’t wait to build and drive this car! I have a DRZ MS, spent the last four months tuning it. I like it but it has some limitations and definitely won’t drift as well as what I see in your DA3S videos! Thanks again 🙏

      Your welcome!
Don't give up on the DRZ MS. It's not easy to setup it well, but rewarding. As far as I know it is one of the great drift chassis even in competitive level.
Probably you already knew the group: facebook.com/groups/Atomic.DRZ (You can ask them for advice, maybe they can help a bit.)

this rc can drift everywhere ? even on tar roads ?

    • @griffsminircdrift
      @griffsminircdrift  Před 6 měsíci

I've never used on tarmac. It's working on tiles well if there are no big gaps.
It can work on concrete if it's smooth but it won't be ideal as the surface would be too grippy more of the same for tarmac.
The scale of the car is 1/24. So the surface should be smooth and not too grippy.
I'm using mine on a painted vinyl track which surface is much better for drifting than concrete or tarmac. (No tire wear.)
