- This weapon really does live up to its name... This run is part of a challenge I'm doing to complete multiple different no-hit runs with weapons that my viewers request. I am trying to complete all 40 that have been requested before 2023. So far, 16 of 40 runs have been done in the last 3 weeks.
Link to full run: • Elden Ring - Godslayer...

13:42 Godrick
16:07 Putrid Avatar

Thanks for watching! I will probably be releasing a few more of these types of videos as we continue to get these weapon request no-hit runs.
I also forgot to include in the video but I did also use the charge attack talisman + tear for this setup because this weapon has pretty strong charge attacks.
Might be a good idea to have a VODs channel for the full runs with highlights like this here. Seems to work with other Souls runners on their CZcamss like Dist and Lilaggy.
Well done Gino this content is great. Reminds me a bit of a Bushy video. PS your garden is tremendous!
btw fire giant got stunned in transition to phase 2, unlucky
You should really add a timer in these videos, its interesting to see how long it took to complete a run
When the blacksmith talks about his "godslaying weapon" he's referring to the fact that you're carrying your first +10 weapon in your hand
If you levelled a Holy damage weapon....welp I guess I'll die
@@OD91MJ me who levelled the angel scythe...
@@OD91MJ blasphemous blade would disagree
@@bad8905 That one's fire.
@@asdergold1 faith and fire but mainly a faith weapon
the godskin appostle kill shows so much trust in the depth of your game knowledge.
It truly does. I aspire to be able to play with that level of skill and certainty.
@@futuristicbus61 lmao 🍊🎂
I was gonna say something smart because he is killing him with sleep pots but I just tried to do the same strat today and I got my assed kicked by him 😭😭
@@ramrodbldm9876 what?
@@CarlosHigg called him a fruit cake
Even though I dont know how many people will appreciate it but I truly value the small edits where you put in the different items you are using in the video, always love educative ER content :D
Trust me, I think every likes it.
Ya, it’s such a minor detail, but I’ve always appreciated it since I started watching him. Hunter is the goat.
Godslayer Greatsword was my weapon for my first playthrough once I got it. An amazing weapon and as you mentioned its weapon art is incredible.
And it only gotten better with patches.
godslayer build is very op. The fireball is especially good against tree spirits and basically everything else
i used it for mine too
*insert clips of crying about poise damage*
@@masterreaper115why? Is it because the “gg” (Godslayer greatsword) have a lot of poise? Or juste because the Gg don’t have poise ?
Dudes such a savage. “Learn first, win later”
Watching you and Aggy just walk over after Fire Giants 2nd phase starts and not even looking up but perfectly placing yourself where his hand will be will never get old. Game knowledge on 1000
It's crazy. They do something similar to elden beast as well
Old smith always has the “about the god slaying weapon” dialogue option during end game. He promised the queen he’d make a weapon capable of killing a god-not sure when he made this promise relative to lore events-though as young Roderieka says “that sounds more like a curse to me” considering nobody has ever even defeated a shard bearer prior to game events she has a point.
Two things 1. When he says god slaying weapon in his dialogue its referring to any plus 10 or 25 weapon just like the achievement and 2. Vyke did get two great runes prior to inheriting the flame of frenzy
Ignore the first part of my comment I read yours wrong and i cant edit it for some reason
@@shawnmoore8460 I suppose, but whom? It seems bizarre that he would have defeated any of the story bosses prior to the playable character doing so. Especially since there’s no mention of them losing to Vyke by any character.
The ambiguity almost implies they’re no name great runes
@@windie7718 maybe he found ranni's after she discarded it and somehow got miquella's
if you wanna nitpick (which i am here lol) Godrick has been defeated before, as he had to beg Melania to spare his life
I'm straight up obsessed with how sleek the Godslayer stuff looks, and the percentage burn effect is awesome too 👍
Honestly it would be hilarious if you attempted a no-hit run with the jar cannon. Simply because it would just be a torture I wouldn't wish on anyone
no-hit I doubt but a No death prolly yes
@@ludfrey5279 I'm taking a shit right now
but you wished it upon him?
I love the concept of the jar cannon and also the one eyed shield
Dude, great job! Just finished watching your no hit all boss.
Wow I just started my godslayer greatsword play through last night and then this is uploaded today. Love to see it, the weapon is so good
The planning, the execution, everything, phenomenal. How many tries did this take you, truly?

So Cool! I'd love to see the entire VOD but that's cause I love the long play throughs.
The godrick kill looked like an absolute execution! Amazing work man!
Ty for putting the item descriptions 💙
Well done man. The Elden Beast fight in particular was just 💯👌 🔥
Some ideas for future play throughs:
Serpentbone Blade, Antspur Rapier powerstanced or Ghiza's Wheel with 1-handed charged R2s
Simply admirable what you do friend.
You know it’s a great day when Gino uploads!!
insane run
oppai
ok
I believe the godslayer dialogue option happens when you fully upgrade a weapon.
unbelievable skill on that Godfrey fight bro
Quite possibly the dopest elden beat finish ive ever seen, beautiful gameplay buddy.
beautiful kill with the weapon art and your videos are so satisfying to watch
New sub from a day ago. Watched many of your vids. They're so good.
That fall in the divine tower made me so mad. It drops so slow i thought it was a trap and kept trying to avoid it.
I'm so glad to finally see people hyping this weapon up. The thing literally carried me through the mid-late game, I owe it my life fr
The elden beast kill was fucking crazy. Craziest I've ever seen
Yeah I just picked up this weapon like yesterday, and it really does live up to its name. That Ash just hits so good 😍
Love the intro bro and great video
God damn! Seeing what you did to the draconic tree sentinel made me actually impressed!
God work Bro 👊
hell yeah GG man
It was a bit shaky in a lot of places, but WOW, the godslayer lived up to its name in the end. Epic run!
Love the god slaying greatsword; with the right build it harshly out damages Maliketh’s destined death ash of war.
A lot of people say the Ash of War isn’t good but it’s not *that* difficult to land the first slash since you can roll out of the startup and post first slash. Making it a pretty safe option that hits decent damage to critical damage depending on commitment.
The black flame tornado ash of war also melts HP like there is no tomorrow. It’s fun to use as well.
When I get a chance, I love to use the black flame tornado on Elden Beast. Takes like 1/4 of the health bar in a full use.
@@ericsimmons4868
This is literally my go to on Elden Beast cheese; it does as much damage as Maliketh and God slayer UGS but the AoW takes slightly less time to complete.
Insane AoW😂😂
How do you build for this weapon? I'm doing a FTH run and I'd like to use it.
I happened to pick up the godslayers greatsword the other day and I’ve been using it since. It’s so fucking cool, and it’s strong as hell. Also, listening to you talking about how trash all of our first characters are really made me laugh.
you are absolutely insane holy
is it really a godslayer run if soldier of GODrick is still alive at the end?
Not if you go back and slay him
Rick solder of GOD
@@grandheadass9476 If you dodge an attack from them is it a rickroll?
Gideon got slapped so fast that his speech wasn’t even done.
the ending was perfect.
The main thing I got from this vid was ‘learn and then win’ 🙂
that elden beast kill....epic
The blacksmith says the stuff about the god slaying weapon when you upgrade any weapon to max
I remember in dark souls 3 I only made the one character because I didn't want to restart and I thought I wouldn't make a nee character for elden ring but it was such a good decision. With more game knowledge I can build my new character better and go to late game areas for high level ruins and such.
nice editing 🙆
I’d done a Godslayer only run shortly before I found your channel lol, so it’s kind of amusing to watch someone use it even better than I did
Of course, every video I watch Alexander killed immediately and feel betrayed myself. Also poor Patches in the last video.
I was wondering when Gino was fighting fire Giant, correct me if I'm wrong but I think there is a poise tear that could have close the lack of poise damage which looks so concerning during the fight 😂
That whole Beast fight was amazing
you're op, respect
The Godslayer's Greatsword is the best weapon I have ever used personally.
really hard hitting discussion around 17:40. Thanks for the insight as always Gino
This dude is crazy . How did I never saw before?
LOL the duo part is so good
Godslayer greatsword is one of my favorites
That Elden Beast kill was delicious!
I terrified on how you can kill Alexander so easy every time... U still have a hearth?
great and fun weapon. 9/10
i did a playthrough using this weapon and it's insaneeeeeee
The fucking 7000+ damage on Beast from charged L2 was insane, I definitely need to get this weapon. Also looking back through this for watching your startegies on not only boss fights but how you get different talismans and somber stones so quickly
On the duo, after killing the 1st one, you wait for buffs to wear off before you rebuff. Is that necessary some reason?
Best and cleanest Elden Beast kill to date!
Question, why do you use the glintblade phalanx on maliketh but none of the other bosses?
I used that weapon for my ng+3 run, enjoyed it a lot
Man really backhanded the God to death
That EB fight was clean AF
Hey man im new to the souls games and elden ring is my first any tips to get better fighting wise im going for a jack the ripper build rn js got the grave scythe
Is there an up to date resource that has the poise damage values of weapons?
Since I always play with music on, I've never heard Godrick say : "bow before me" on one of his regular attacks until now
I tried the weapon loved it so much i had to keep it spare for ng+7 as a godskin build
Have you ever done/would you ever do spell focused no hit runs? I imagine something like carian slicer would be too similar to melee to be all that special but a no hit with Loretta spells would be super cool I think
The Elden beast kill was nasty, it only got to do one attack before you killed it
I was watching and then only at the end realized, I’VE BEEN WATCHING FOR 40 MINUTES?!?!
30:22 on repeat, gino's reaction is golden
No option to do away with mid rolling? Can’t get a charm or physick tear?
You can see his patience in the fight with margit, he had him on weak health and even a light attack eouls have killed him, but he waited until he did a move with a punish window for the killing blow
Can someone please explain why gino always kills the draconic sentinel at the beginning of these no-hit runs? Is it to get runes early? Or progress something with the story?
When he said do we have enough kukris right now.. what I heard was "do we have enough cuckerys right now"
Can't you do Glintblade Phalanx for the Fire Giant poise stagger?
*Fighting Hoarah Loux*
"That was close"
Dude it all looks close from where I'm sitting.. You're a freaking beast lol
the elden beast kill was so sick
Does the ritual sword talisman apply for spells and sills
Why doesnt the fall damage in the divine tower of caelid count as a hit? It is possible to get down it without taking damage
"am I dead?"
Me: crying as an ass dagger player 😭
Wow, that Elden Beast died almost as quickly as Gideon lol.
that sword melts the game
Used this sword on my second playthrough, had a lot of fun with it but some of the late game enemies were real annoying without the stonebarb tear because the poise damage isn't as good as most of the other colossal weapons. If you can get the break, unloading a full weapon art is so satisfying
Man speedruns are so wild
14:19 Godrick laughed at you for whiffing that attack.
Upload the complete run please!!! Ginmac
Can’t wait for a rough weapon like the pickaxe for one of these runs
That kill.. 'absolutely putrid'. Disgusting. Truly a boss move.
My first Elden Ring character also still exists, but he's level 260-something, in NG+3 because he did all the achievement bound endings and has nearly 300 hours playtime, even took the time after the 3rd playthrough to do every single side dungeon. Fair to say i will absolutely make a new character for the DLC, playing them in NG+3 for the first time propably won't be a fun experience.
elden beast kill was ridiculous. even my kill with the summon glitch forever ago was slower
This weapon is probably my favorite in the game, it was amazing to use it on my Godskin build
I made one too with same weapon
does hoara loux's roar count as a hit i always wondered ?
I ADORE the Godslaying Greatsword. The unique ash of war is SO SATSIFYING to land, especially since they sped it up and allowed you to roll out of it. HUGE buffs for the usability/utility. More poise damage would be nice, but the burn on AoW is so much easier to apply now i'm ok with that tradeoff.
This gino guy kills me. Makes it look super easy.
Has From Software contacted you yet? This is amazing
I'm pretty sure those more familiar than me with these runs know, but how do you get to leyndell so early for the draconic tree sentinel kill?
I dont know if this is how he does it, but if you want to, this is a way, getting the glintstone key and dectus medallion, you can get up to altus without fighting a single boss, then you go to the entrance of leyndell where the draconic sentinel guards, the sentinel isnt in leyndell, he just guards it
What are all the buffs used before Radagon, including the physick? Like the ash of war used for example...
