My settings file is linked in the description, simply place it in your Documents/Electronic Arts/TS3/Library folder (if you don’t have one, make it). You can then import this settings file in-game with my how-to at 1:33:01!

👉 EDIT 9/21/21: A lot of people have been mentioning that, when importing my settings, their game crashes to a black screen. THIS IS BECAUSE OF NRAAS CUPCAKE. I discovered if you do not currently have the Deliciously Indulgent Bakery in your game, it will instantly crash to your desktop. I'd recommend avoiding NRAAS Cupcake, as I believe you can still import my settings no problem without it.
I'd add Nraas Relativity. You can scale down in-game time so, when you wake up in the morning, you can shower, make food and eat it comfortably all withing 1 hour game time.

For anyone struggling with lag like I was, as well as these mods, merge your cc! I was skeptical of losing some of my cc during the process, and it's why I put off doing it for so long - I got to a point where the game was lagging so badly that I was straight up just not playing anymore. I cannot stress enough how much it helped me out, and fixed the lag. I have upwards of 13GB of CC so it did take a little bit of work to do, but it's so worth the time you take to do it properly. The only bit of advice I'd give to people is to not merge script mods as they can break during the process, and to avoid merging things like kitchen counters as they've been known to cause issues too. Other than that; I advise taking the plunge.
@Ming Tings I used SimPE for sims 3 to merge packages, I've never had any problems with it so I'm not really sure what to suggest :(

@@cutecoric Honestly since this comment was posted initially I have switched to Steam and no longer merge anything - I drastically reduced the amount of cc I had, and try to almost exclusively use sims3pack files because they cause less lag in my game in general. I'm sorry that you lost some cc during the process though, I've never encountered that :/

I absolutely looove Retuner, it's one of my favorite NRAAS's mod (along with MC, DebugEnabler, WooHooer, SP, Traveler and all others 😄 I use all Nraas mod's except Dresser) I used to create several xml mods for my game, than I met Retuner and I didnt have to do it outside my game anymore, I can do it inside and I can set different tones for every save game without having to creat flavors for my mods! Simply amazing 💜

Huh... I always included Master Controller cuz everyone said it was a "necessary mod"... but I really don't wanna micromanage or force things, I want the simulation to play out around me however the algorithms decide. I might remove it...

Go Here > Care Givers > Allow Babies/Toddlers To Be Home Alone. You can walk off your home lot and a babysitter will be summoned without that annoying prompt.

Sorry I'm also commenting on this video but I just wanted to say thank you for this in depth guide. Like story progression it really helped me out since I don't know much about mods except downloading and a little bit of upkeep. I don't know if this was a mod or not but I've never seen it before. It's like the scan room feature from sims 2 and if it's from a mod I downloaded from here THANK YOU. I literally had a sims child who didn't find anyone attractive and I went across the whole town.

I think that Nraas Traffic is important, too. Fewer Food and Ice Cream Trucks, Disallow Performance Career Limos (they can get stuck), reduce Traffic Delta by like -500 which reduces lag noticeably.

I just have one question: can I import part of your settings just for the NRAAS' mods that I use? For example, I don't use NRAAS Consigner and the Cupcake mod, so can I just uncheck them on that Overwatch's tab, where it asked me to select which settings I would like to import (instead of selecting "all") or would it cause any problems in my game?
I believe you can pick and choose which settings you want! I'm not exactly sure as I've never done it, but give it a whirl and report back because now I'm interested as well!

With Nraas you can also have a discrete rendezvous at the spa.
It used to work with my old computer, (before I updated to a new IOS) and then sims 3 deleted itself,so I reloaded it on another computer, but now all they do is walk in and immediately walk out, can’t pick what sim I wanna “play” with

Unfortunately you lose them! But if you want to keep all your relatives but still want to use Porter, I recommend using www.theplumtreeapp.com/ ! It's a website made by a fellow Simmer that lets you input your own legacies and keep track of them that way.
Otherwise, use Traveler to move your families from town to town!

I'm using traveler to move my family from town to town (doing legacy challenge) and I got to the fifth generation, with the family tree intact. Now I have some kind of bug that gave my present sim a second grandpa, clone from the original lol

Hi, book-marking this for later as I don't have any mods at all and it's overwhelming but what town are you in at the start of this video?
I've downloaded NRAAS MasterController, OverWatch, etc and I have the Resource file, mod folder, etc. When I load into the The sims 3 on Origin and start up the game when I click on my Sim/City Hall I don't get the option of Master Controller.
Yes my game is in my Documents Folder but I didn't use any extracting tools, I just right clicked on the folder and pressed 'Extract All' and found the Mod/Packages/NRAAS folder and extracted it there.
Any idea of why this isn't working?

NRAAS doesn't have any mods like that, but a lot of people use the following mod to do that sort of thing! Check it out!

I installed the errortrap and traffic mods but don't know if they are activated. Clicking in a computer or city hall doesn't give me that tooltip option "nras"...

The only thing that doesn't seem to be working for me is the cupcake mod. Do I have to bulldoze and replace the lot for the bakery to fill up?
If it's not autofilling the cases, then yes, I would try to bulldoze and just replace the lot.
i only download the errortrap, mastercontroller and overwatch. but it crash on the loading page, the skip intro with framework are fine tho. background music only for 2 seconds then it crashed :(
