- hey y'all in today's first new series of long-form content we're reacting to a few interesting videos I came across. First one was a crazy clip of (what looks like a pit bull) dog almost mauling a woman and her dog, then we dive into the main part where a man's dog was attacked by a pack of coyotes and last, a stray cat who defended a dog from a pack of wild coyotes!

I have a 2 year old akita/mastiff mix that is over 100 lbs. I'm a 5'3 woman, and even though she does have some leash aggression (sometimes she reacts to other dogs, sometimes she doesn't. Havent been able to pinpoint exactly what the trigger is), I can and have been able to control her during any short outbursts. I also have a 6 year old 85 lb super social boxer/pyrenees mix. While walking one on one with my akita mix to work on her aggression, we were attacked by 3 lab mixes that belonged to 2 of my neighbors. I noticed one walking towards us as we passed the driveway and yell at him and for the neighbor. He circled my dog and me while we stood there at first and then he attacked my dog. Luckily my girl is younger, sturdier, and fearless. She stood right next to me the entire time as she had the other dogs face or neck in her mouth. I screamed for the other owner hoping she'd come out before anything happened, but she was too late. Her dog attacked mine and i didn't even think, i just reacted, trying to get my dog to unlock but her jaws were too tight. The other owner finally came WALKING out but then the other 2 dogs came running, circling, growling and nipping at my dog. I was kicking and punching those other dogs and luckily didn't get bit. I was only a couple houses down from mine and considered running home to let out my other dog, but I knew that would be an even bigger mess. Eventually they let go and ran off and I took my girl home with no injuries🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. That's been the most terrifying moment, but there have been multiple times someone's dog has gotten loose & charged us. So much at this point, I think I'll get them spiked collars just in case another fight happens even though I don't want to make them look more aggressive, but I want to give them as much advantage as possible. Coyotes roam around our neighborhoods too, but I feel a little more at ease knowing neither of my dogs are scared to fight if they have to. All 3 of us will just be out there throwing paws😂😂😂😂 it'd be much more terrifying if I had a small dog. I can't fathom it.
omg that's an intense story, but I agree one of the downsides of having a small dog is how vulnerable they are to bigger animals! Glad you and your dogs are okay though, thanks for sharing the story!

I have a black lab/gsd mix and a mini pinscher. A rottweiler and a husky came into my yard and went straight for my big boy. Next thing i know time skipped and i had my arm around the rotty's neck trying to choke him out and kicking the husky screaming get away! With my little one in the background coming in at 15lbs biting ankles! The neighbors heard me and helped chase them off but there was def no decision making, just acting. My baby isn't just a dog.. "get a new one." Bruh.. get a new friend cus I'm out. Like you said.. if my dog could drive I'd give him the keys😅

Love the format that you're going for and I think the length of the videos are pretty good to get this going!
My only suggestion, and or request is if you could try and keep the videos at least positive enough where the animal doesn't get killed, there are plenty of channels posting about pets and other bad instances of nature being nature, a dog getting out at the park and mauling another dog... It's just that we are so inundated with that reality it would be nice to have a reliable channel where it is dramatic animal incidences but at least not to the extent of ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️ you know?
But overall I get it, great vids.

It's terrifying. I've been attacked by a dog while walking my dog. The owner came running and beat the hell out of his dog but not before mine had serious damage. I'm forever shook.😢😢😢

You should not harm a dog or shoot it, you may scare him with the noise or pick up your dog for its safety
even if it's a mortal danger to you or your dog?
@@jbri1 well the lady picked up her dog and the owner was trying his best to pulling him back (even if failing)
Because if you shot a dog in front of its owner you know you’ll end up in trouble even if it was to protect your dog you shot a dog and removed its life
If it’s a wild one with no owners or a coyote then it’s fine to attack(even though it’s a bit harsh)
@@Aquax_the_3rd I definitely hear ya, I exaggerated a bit with the resorting to a gun. I'd much rather use pepper spray or maybe some sort of stick if available
