    Thanks, this was clear and useful to me as a newbie. Question: my workplace uses Google calendars, and I'll be using it to schedule mtgs with multiple people. Does that mean that each time I'll first have to email everyone I want to invite and ask them to share their calendar with me? And only then will I be able to look for a compatible time for the mtg? Is there a faster/more efficient way of seeing when a bunch of people are available for an event?

      Yes, you can add notifications to a shared calendar. Just click the little arrow beside the shared calendar and you should see edit notifications.

    I cam here looking for an answer to an issue I am having and hopefully someone will have some insight.
    I am part of two homeschooling groups. Each has a calendar of events page where I can add events directly to my google calendar. Only, one of them adds events straight to my default calendar (awesome) and one of them adds each event AS a calendar. SO if I had 7 swimming events there would be 7 calendars (not at all awesome).
    Why is this happening? What can be done? Thank you for your help.

    • @DeanaDuquesne
      @DeanaDuquesne Před 5 lety

      You might try simply adding a calendar, call it "Swimming," and when you add swimming events, click that you want them added on your Swimming calendar. I hope that helped.

    Love so much about this vid but your omission that a lot of this not available to people using the standard/free google tools is making people waste time on this (as evidenced by how many people are asking you about appointment slots). Suggest you update your video description if not the title... :)
