I've been using Google calendar for a while now, mostly because of your videos, and just last week I found out that my uni's course scheduling system allows me to import my timetable to Google with a couple of clicks. I'm probably a bit too excited for this feature, but it saves me trying to put in every single class by itself.

@@4plantsinthewindow idk but i had the same thing just much more lame cuz it displays ur full name before the event and it just takes up space its dumb but i think it just has to be connected to ur school system. like, check, if you have your online grade system where teachers write your grades and if you hve a schedchule for tests, there might be a button to import it in your callendar, but if not, honeslty, it might be for the better.
maybe just write it down yourself in your callendar, that way youll know for sure when things are and its easier to change them if the teahcers change the date

For deadlines and submission dates it is very important to not just putting them in your calendar, but also already putting the times in, when you are planning to work towards them. Otherwise being alerted to them at the very day will be too late.

    • @Thomasfrank
      @Thomasfrank  Před 8 lety +1

+TaylorGray I probably won't make a video about it, but the most important things to do are:
      1. Eat clean - I'm pretty confident that sugar, wheat, and processed foods in general are a huge cause
      2. Drink a lot of water
      3. Be healthy in general - exercise and sleep well
      4. Keep your sheets and pillowcase washed
      5. For treatments, cleansing with witchhazel or apple cider vinegar helped the most.
I tried pretty much everything out there except Accutane, and it was always my diet/water intake that correlated with improvement and breakouts.
Also, a tool like Habitica can really help you stay consistent with things like sheet-changing, water intake, and face washing/cleansing - because it's really easy to skip.
Lastly, part of the solution might simply be getting older. I know that's absolutely not what you want to hear, but my complexion really did improve once I hit my 20's, at least on my face. Chest still isn't perfect (and I'm not sure if it'll ever be).
      Hope this helps!

    Hi Thomas Frank,
Your information is fantastic. As a basketball coach and teacher I talk and send your URLs to my players to assist them with their school studies. Parents think your tutorials are great. Thank you so much.
I am not sure how to save Google calendar for me. could you explain this for me being an older person.
    Thanks again. Trevor Cook.

I need help. Productivity software and apps are hugely important to keep track of your calendar, agenda, and tasks. This video was a year ago. And Sunrise was bought by Microsoft who has Outlook which is terrible and they haven't done anything better with Outlook. And all other videos on CZcams suggesting calendars are old. I can't believe there aren't many more or better choices like Sunrise available for managing your activities.

I don't know whether you will have time to respond to this: I am both a student and a dancer. I have had a lot of injuries and I need an app or calendar to input all of my past class schedules, dates of injuries, performances, lost opportunities and future endeavors. Then I would like to look at this for patterns and suggestions (I make myself) for what to do better next time (graphs, tables, charts), as well as costs and expenses-such as to support a request for tuition refund over these periods of time, or for specific periods of time. Most importantly, I would like to have this one place-one big calendar-that I can share and which I can add notes to for some days-for instance, from my journal (deeper descriptions). Is there a way to do this all?

have you ever had to withdraw from a class? how did you decide to withdraw and how did you manage that change of plans?

+3684marie1 yep - in some cases, I added the class the next semester and tried again. In others, they were extracurriculars that I didn't end up liking, so I found a replacement.

i noticed that you had events in your calendar that overlapped with others(specifically the ones with the professor stuff) how do you go on with these? do you sometimes decide on not doing the activity in blue? or do you do the green, then when the blue comes up you up switch activities?

is it just some kind of reminder that you could potentially do one or the other in that time frame?

The Professor Office Hours calendar is a special calendar that simply tells me when each professor has their office hours. I never actually went to all of them - it was just a reference, in case I needed to go visit a professor and didn't know what time they'd be in their office. Most of the time, that calendar remained hidden.

    Hey, love the video!
I'm wondering if you've heard of or looked at a relatively new calendar app called Plan that is a to do list combined with a calendar. It then lets you pull those tasks in to your calendar, creating that time pressure and allowing you to block off time for what you need to get done.
I recognize that they're new so they may not have figured everything out yet, but I'm just wondering what your thoughts are.
    Thanks!
