    Thank you, Hector, I'm so happy I found your channel, so much valuable information.
    Re: QBO advanced desktop does log out quite often, (their promise of staying logged in is just not true), only benefit is multiple companies (which is huge for me), and right-click doesn't work, so super annoying.
    And YES to pivot tables, as you said still missing a lot, but this would be so great, no more exporting is needed. Yay

    After 6 months of trying to figure out how QuickBooks wants me to categorize things in my Chart of Accounts, I finally realized that it really doesn't matter - I just need to categorize in some way that makes sense to me, and do it the same every time, and I will be able to figure out how to print out what I need when I get to the point of doing my taxes. It will be at least as useful as my old Quicken always has been.

    I could see the PDF view being a precursor to advanced approval workflows. This is more informative than many CPEs I take. I'm not very interested in the revenue share program.

    Hi there! I am new to this channel but I already love all the information you give here. One thing I personally would love you to do is to make a video about the Novo business checking account integration with Quickbooks online and how would you make everything to work smoothly

      @@HectorGarciaCPA opening a Novo account would be easy with no fees at all. Al you need when you get approve for it would be transfer at least 50 dollars which are not tide to anything. Those are just to unock the full power of the account and the apps the have partnered with. One of them would be Quickbooks. Just explained this just in case you think getting approve for the account wuld not be easy, which it really is easy. I would understand anyways if you ultimately decide not to do it. I still love you content. Thanks for the quick reply

    Thanks for the videos, they are really helpful. I do have a question, I don't need all the features of QBO plus or greater... 90% of my jobs don't need cost tracking... however every once and a while on a bigger job it would be nice. Is there a way of doing some kind of cost and expense tracking (even if it is more complicated or not as easy to do it) in the essentials plan?

    Great review of the new features. Thanks. I have one question. In the expense management portion of QB Online Advance, can you allow a person with the role of 'time tracking and expense reporting only/ to input the customer? In the example, that was added afterwards by the QB user which could be time consuming. We currently use QB Desktop w/ Expensify to achieve this but are considering moving to QB Online Advance and using it's expense tracking.

    I used qb almost 10 years...QB is still not allowed to type unicode ”another language"... Hectar should advice to QB community to developer of QB that should allow to type unicode.

    With the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act can the money I spend on things to sell (inventory) be counted as expenses rather than waiting til they sell or Cost of Goods Sold? Am I able to do this in simple start? I have small home based business and can't see upgrading to plus. I buy vintage used items, resell online sometimes in auction form.

    Hi Hector. I am so appreciative of your videos - thank you! With the current invoice templates, I can't seem to edit the "Bill To" width. I frequently find that the width doesn't allow enough characters on each line, so they will spill over to the next line, and it looks very unprofessional to me. Am I missing something? I can edit column widths in the billing section, but not in the header section.

    Interesting value says so little. The value of your customers doing their marketing and accounting in one place is huge.
    This is a big move for them because it indicates that they want to become a total business solution/ ecosystem vs a single piece of the biz.
    This is vital because there is a lot of headaches associated with having multiple platforms having duplicate info and potentially losing leads in the shuffle. QB is not sufficient for an aggressive lead strategy but with mail chimp it starts to set the table.

      Its certainly a good vision. I generally talk about how useful is NOW vs. how useful it could be once they build it.

    Do Accountants still do trial balance? As much as Ive seen in multiple CZcamsrs vids I havent heard them mention it. Only time I see it is in a txtbk

    Hi Hector, Do you have any vidoes showing how to enter expense reports (excel and PDF) to an existing account into the Chart of Accounts on Quickbooks desktop Pro Plus 2022 without having a bank/credit card set up. I do everything manually without having my bank/credit card info in QB. I created an exense account last month and uploaded a document but I don't know how to add more expenses to the account that I already created. Do I create a new account with the same name and just have them merge? Or is there a better way? I don't know any other way to get a hold of you so this is why I am leaving a comment. Thank you. -Amanda
