How long as it been since VR excited everyone so much? this has to be a good sign for the future of Triple-A VR, which has come to a standstill on PCVR and never really existed on Quest headsets.
True I was so fed up with the quest holding us back.
It’s insane how powerful the Psvr2 is for the price you can buy it (especially if you already have a Ps5).
Normally you have to pay more than twice as much to get a vr headset with similar specs.
Facts
its equivalent to 3070 gfx card on a high end pc, not bad at all.
psvr 1 you had to also pay for camera and controllers so take the price of those into consideration. its not a bad deal.
@@allanallen1835 actually Pavlov dev said their game runs ten percent faster on a ps5 than it does on their PC with a 3090ti

Horizon literally is the most beautiful world out there in games. I would love to play this. And also the way Ash tried to touch Aloy and her reaction, lol i wasn't expecting that, so funny.
Loving the vibe of Ash. She captures the cozy weekend vibe of pure chill at home playing video games.
Psvr2 the best price performance VR headset out there nothing comes close. I just want more and more big triple a games pretty soon

@@rinkumultani6515 they say it would take a miracle to get to to happen within the next few years. Our best hope is that Sony allows for official support. Or imagine they let every other PCVR headset work on PS5, that would increase sales of all PCVR headsets and in turn grow VR as a whole allowing for more AAA games to be produced. Plus it would increase sales of VR games on PS5 although I know that sony would never think of doing it
@@Llamu if hackers can't find a way then it's tuff but they will never let pc VR headsets run on ps5 cos they don't use next gen features like fov rendering ext ext they will take to much power to run on PS5
@@rinkumultani6515 true. I guess they could do what they did with SSDs where it’s only compatible if it meets the requirements though later down the line when more headsets with the tech exist. But I’m not saying they will do that just that they could

the most beautiful game i have seen in VR has to be Half LIfe Alyx, a hallway in that game really look like its real

Anyone who gets motion sick playing first person perspective games given VR a try? I want to try it but the price is a worry given it might just me sick 😂
there's comfort setting and that to help. And the frame rate is reprojected to 120fps even if the game isnt running at that frame rate. Plus if you do get motion sick you get used to it overtime. Try playing more "comfortable" games at first and then move on to "less comfortable" games.
I would love to see Dave play switchback or something like that what is coming to vr2
My wife is scared of butterflies - I’m not sure vr butterflies are for her
If only the PSVR2 was backwards compatible with the existing PSVR library. That would make me buy it as there would already be several titles I want to try and not just a small selection to play after paying 500 and the game. I rather save that up to repair the overheating of my PS5 in case the better option is to buy a new one.
Is the nausea issue better with the psvr2? I tried to love the original psvr but I never could get used to it!!
On Thursday, when the psvr2 should arrive, I’m doing a lunchtime organ recital. Hope it arrives in the afternoon!

Looks like there is comfort settings so I'd like to see "extreme" ware you dont have your vision tighten with quick movement
As an "experienced" VR player, I hope there's an option to disable comfort setting. Once they're not necessary, all they do is kill the immersion.
That's what I was trying to get at but it wasn't coming out right hahah
@@shanegess3213 There should be an option for it. I dont know if there are any games that dont. I might be able to find a clip of the settings menu to see if there is.

Can somebody explain what is this black circle which often appears?
it appears briefly fast motion sections like if your failling for example, blacks out your peripheral vision basically and helps with motion sickness, not sure if it can be turned off although Im not sure why youd want to as its not intrusive to where youre actually looking and goes away once youre stopped and wanting to look around again and helps keep you playing longer
believe you can disable it if you dont suffer from motion sickness at all tho

It's a comfort setting designed to help new players who might be vulnerable to motion sickness. You can disable it in the settings if you don't need it.
Have they even tried any other VR headset before?
It's a climbing game. Only took 6 hours to complete. It's mostly for beginners who are new to VR. Also, it's just to show what the PSVR2 can do. In my opinion, it's not worth $70.

It's 4k in the headset. 2k per eye. And the blurriness you might see in the video is nothing to worry about its just the foveated rendering where it goes blurry when its in your peripheral vision in order to increase performance.

@@solid_justice5855 Only true for Horizon, the other couple of games for vr2 I wouldn't even consider playing... So that's a lot of money for a single game.

@@haseebmirza2901 GT7 possibly, they kinda did that game with micro transactions. No RE fan, but I can see it's a AAA game. Still 3 games for that price? No way hose.
