The VR in this game is something else and I think it’s probably the most fun I’ve had with the PSVR2. I know in my mind it isn’t real but some of the tracks with steep dips, my stomach drops every time. So good!
VOD SQUAD!! This was such a great stream. I watched it right after watching the vr launch stream and the way Ash's enthusiasm for this game skyrockets once she puts on the headset is such a great demonstration of how much the experience is elevated by the vr headset. All we need now is a second wheel for some 1 on 1 access team racing!
The banter while Rob and Ash are driving is absolute gold haha
I hope we get Half Life Alyx announced for this on Thursday :)

I spent most of the launch in GT7. It's that good and fun, especially since I have a wheel, pedals and shifter setup. I'm not a huge sim racing fan but this VR mode has me hooked. Leguna Seca in it is so fun, a little jarring because of the elevation changes and tight turns.
My personal dream car is a 1969 Chevy Chevelle Super Sport. I too have a Thrustmaster ( 150 Pro) and hope you all enjoy this game.
Well now we know if ash ever slightly lost control of a car in real life, she would just let go of the steering wheel entirely.

I hope you can in VR-room eventually toggle between times of day and weather, as well as between stages og tiredirt, droplets, oilstains and damages. After all, this already exist in photomode. And weatherchangewhile racing is already there. It would be good to be inside a car while meditating to the rain with music either on or off. Maybe they will some day add more music to the brandcentral.

I got my PS VR2 today. I'm loving it so far, but the headset hurts my head quite a bit, and even with glasses, it's a little blurry for me. Maybe I just need to mess around with the placement of the headset and the lenses a little bit. I'm downloading Horizon Call of the Mountain's free trial right now to see if I like it, and I've been playing No Man's Sky in VR today, too. I can't wait to see what games come out for it over the year.
Same but without glasses lol never feels fully in focus, and "foveated rendering" doesn't seem to be a thing in gt7, never stays in place for too long either and can feel it on your nose.
@@mdfkrz79 What other VR games have you played today? I tried the Star Wars demo but I couldn’t get into it properly. Maybe I just need to give it another go.

@@mdfkrz79 The Kayak seems a bit too peaceful for me, but I imagine it’ll be the ultimate chill out VR game. I really want Skyrim VR to be ported for VR2 and Hogwarts Legacy to be updated for VR2 as well. And when I get paid in five days, I’ll see what’s on the store for me to buy. Probably Call of the Mountain if I enjoy the trial.
@@MajesticJoshua i'm hoping project wingman is good, and just found out you can't play in the dark, makes sense for safety I guess but if i'm sitting down it should let you use it anyway, especially as I had already set the play area/boundaries, kind of dumb, and I'd rather not have to have a light on to play in the light blocking headset lol

As a longtime GT fan, it was awesome to see Ash's genuine VR reaction and Rob crack up as I did. It was very adorable af to see her bash car racers, knowing she drive like that in real life lol & driving her cool VW sambabus. this looks incredible but i cant even imagine the motion sickness it would give me i played call of the mountain for maybe an hour earlier and just had to stop tis will take some getting use to

How did any of you not get motionsickness? I can drive for one lap and I get sick.
Are you new to VR? Look up getting your vr legs. It doesn't, or didn't for me, take long to get used to it. But some suffer more then others.
@@twatinahatsmith7428 I had the old, but didn’t use it much. Tried some Star Wars where you pilot a fighter of some sort. Got pretty sick.
But it is already going much better with GT7 now. Did two races yesterday of 5 laps each. The 10th lap, I had to take em off, but I wasn’t too sick. Just gotta play small bursts and take breaks.

Heads up to anyone thinking that gt7 is blurry in VR. It was blurry for me for days, and I'm like "let me try my kids' mother's glasses" and hold and behold, super clear. So, to all those thinking that Sony lied about the VR headset resolution quality, you are wrong. You need your eyes checked. Just as I need mine checked. Shout out to the random commenter in another video that suggested to people to check their eyes/vision.

Fast regularly, consume mostly raw fruit/veggies, stay away from the phone/social media for a while and your eyes should be fixed. I should take my own advice. My point is to try other ways to fix your vision before getting glasses.
But if you already have gt7 psvr2 or getting it soon, then better go check your vision and get prescription glasses, as the fixing the vision with the other ways I mentioned takes time, patience, determination, discipline.

If you're thinking of getting PSVR2 make sure your expectations are realistic. The image quality in a video like this is so, SO much better than what you'll see in the headset.

Somehow my PSVR2 is blurry af. The foveated rendering isn’t working at all.
I tried everything but can’t fix it.

It gets blurry, shades of the first one. Can't say I'm impressed with it at all. Talk about pre-release bias reviews from people who got sent one. No different than the PSVR 1 when you're in a game or on the main menu. Same quality pretty much. I am not joking. And how hard is it to add a media player with a 360 video option?
Adjust the lenses. This is a huge upgrade over vr1
