I had 2004 C5 headers no cat's 4 resonators and Billy boats the sound was crazy loud, I had to change my sound system so I could hear my music. I would go with the Billy boats hands down.

@@corvetteboyz you are right! Just what it needed! Unfortunately the pipes were a little bit off on the bend, so my master mechanic exhaust doctor heated it up and bent it evenly! Sounds so great.

I've got the B&B Bullets on my stock LS1, and personally, I don't think anything sounds better. The B&Bs just sound meaner than anything else. Great video, guys. Love the cars, of course, but I'm biased. Haha!

Just added the Borla S II to my 2005 and I love it. If you have stock exhaust, an upgrade to the Borla S II is well worth it.

Leafy Watson I agree the c7 exhaust system is just too good to even change.Its perfect out the factory.Its got great sound and the 4inch tips,chevy did it right on the 7 Series!!

The C7’s exhaust is nice!! Both of the C6’s sound good for sure. Both systems are high quality, so really it’s a matter of personal preference just like both C6 owners pointed out. Very nice to have a quality video that gives the viewer a good idea what they sound like when compared. I wish you would have done the two C6’s back to back for better comparison, but still definitely good enough to know the difference between the two. Thanks for posting!! I’m going to jump on the Borla. Kudos on the Vid
That what I've had for at least 10+ years with the Borla X-Pipe! I feel they actually get better & less drone @ ~1,500-1,700RPM - with age! That's the only problem I really experienced, but it actually improved with time. How are you enjoying your Borla's?

Is it noticeably better? I just put on borla s type II cat back on my c6. Now wondering if I should add borla x pipe? Or even what about mixing and matching with cords, does cords offer an x pipe and how would that sound I wonder?!
@@justincavinder6414 I had the Borla X-Pipe installed with my Stingers when I bought them together. I wouldn't necessarily say it's noticeably better that without (with a stock H-Pipe that was originally on my 2007 C6 Z51), just that it likely provides a smoother exhaust flow with perhaps less popping? I don't know about mixing & matching, but I would imagine it very possibly could be made to work without much effort. You will have to further investigate that though.
I like them all. I'm very impressed with the stock C7 though! Wow, it's hard to believe it comes from the factory like that.
I would lean towards the Borla's for my own ride though.

It's hard to tell how loud they are on camera, but on pure tone alone I like those billy boats. I run corsa extremes on my 5.0 so I like loud, but I'd like to hear these in person

Yes they def drone but they sound so good.
Borla S type, aggressive with revs, but less drone than BBBs I’m guessing 💪
Darren Malone Darren Malone what’s up Darren yes the Borla S Types sounds great, and even better when they break in. They don’t drone no where near as bad as the Billy Boats. But the BBS make the house rumble inside 👍
I just put the Bullets on my stock 2013. The drone is ridiculous. I’m getting the Borla s type 2 cat back.

All sounded good... I have Borla on my C6Z06 and they are very loud and sound a little “european” with a raspy note at full song with Kooks headers, I like’m a lot. I looked at Billy Boats also. Don’t think you can go wrong with either really. Good video.

Wow, that’s a tough call, and I’m trying to choose for my C6 GS also... all 3 sound like they mean business... Beautiful rides gentlemen. I would have to say I lean to the Borla S Type 2... It’s angry and sounds like a refined tune at the same time. Did you get Borla axle back, or was it catback including the Borla X-pipe?
Stock C7 is good too. Nothing wrong with it.
All of them sounded Goode. Billy Boats sounded good. They have been around for a long time. C7 you can't go wrong because it has multiple modes. When your out with wifey, on a call or long trip the ability to change mode is precious. I would have to give the edge to the yellow C6. The Borla exhaust had the best sound at idle or goosing gas peddle with no load on the engine.

Looking to replace my stock on my 2012 GS, and was looking at Borla Atak. But those BBs sound great. I have heard they can drone a bit, is that true?
What’s up Sandman yes the Billy Boats are going to drone but they sure sound good on these Corvettes. The drone inside the cabin isn’t really deafening though.

Try looking at the Tri flo PRT from Billy Boat. Sound mean WOT but no drone driving light around town.
@@vjay6633 Thanks for the reply. I ended up finding a great deal on a set of OEM NPPs. Right now it rides wide open and sounds great to me. I have to add a vacuum connection to it to control it, but not in a hurry for that as I like them open.

C7s get a thumb down. On topic the exhaust all sound good.
Stock Corvette I could live with long term. Best sound, probably Billy Boat, but a little too much noise on deceleration for me.
