I am applying student extend permit, need to show health insurance, I want to know Is that same Kela Health insurance, which one we pay every semester ? and how to pay next year Kela health insurance for showing insurance document to Migri. As I checked Kela website they said next year insurance fee confirm by 30 Nov and after that you can pay ?
You need to buy a student health insurance from Swisscare or other platform. Kela will not support unless you have a kela card in Finland. The money you are paying to Kela which is for the basic health care system you will be using in your Finland life. But health insurance will cover accidental cost or unwanted cost of health damage.
