Joe - your voice is so smooth and soothing...and your "dry" humor is off-the-charts as I chuckle at your one-liners in each video. These one liners made me laugh out loud! ("What's your Dill?" and "You're in a Pickle now!"). Thanks for putting together this series of videos...as I'm a Section Hiker...going NOBO...that is currently at 1,300 miles - the PA/NJ State Line.
They're a little piece of gear that I make called "Pole Pockets." When I wasn't traveling all the time I made and sold them through my website but I haven't had time to whip up a batch lately. Hopefully I can start again soon though, and when I do I'll be selling them through my website again. Thanks!
So happy to see a new episode, although I am worried that the two of you are getting pretty cold out there. Great footage as usual, 35 minutes worth of art! And I'm glad you brought up the Yellow Deli - a lot of hikers just seem to treat it as another place to go, without realizing what they are supporting...I don't plan on visiting there during my thru hike...
I totally heard “Sko” at 12:28 - your trail name officially justified🤭 Wow! So many and such great Trail Angels...It was neat to see how much the trees changed during the episode. I was going through CZcams video withdrawals. Glad you were able to get one edited and posted. Thanks, I know how much work goes into providing us with good videos.😻🎃
Moosilauke is by and far my favorite mountain I've ever done. It's always so striking to see that grassy field on top. Hope you two are staying warm in Maine! That flip back south will feel great I'm sure!
Sounds like the yellow del was not a good experience that’s to bad. You may have covered this previously but you guys have a new tent? I remember your Nemo was leaking bad. Vermont sure is beautiful. Won’t be long and you will be back at Harpers Ferry South Bound!
Another fab vlog from BB. Thank you. The 4k video is verry impressuve on my 50" Samsung 4K TV. I hiked that section late May. The winds were houling over mt. M and the waterfalls were busting out of the seams. There was still 2 to 3 feet of snow on the northern slopes. I wish you could have stopped at Hikers Welcome Hostel. Its a great place and you could have slack packed over Mt. M. I can't wait to see your next video. I got as far NB as Gorham in Sept and am planning on hiking the Mahoosuc Range late Oct. - LightWalker
Joe, I couldn't help but notice you are using a new tent set-up. How's that working out for you. I wouldn't think you would have any condensation issues.
Interesting. I've seen a great number of hikers stay at the Yellow Deli this year, and I didn't know it was run by a cult. Thanks for the info...I'll skip it on my thru hike in 2021.
It looks like you guys have lost a little weight. Also, I noticed that Tara is wearing an Outdoor Vitals LoftTek jacket. I'm not sure if she purchased it on the recent Kickstarter, or if it was given to her by OV for testing? I purchased mine on the Kickstarter, and I am anticipating using it when winter finally arrives. I, and others who have reviewed the jacket, have noticed that the jacket seems thin, and somewhat under filled with insulation, when compared to most jackets that I have owned. The jacket also appear very translucent when held up to a light, and again, I cannot see through any of my other insulated jackets. All that being said, I am a little worried about the warmth factor of this jacket! Since Tara has actually been out, and using the jacket in colder temperatures, I was wondering what she thought about the jacket, and how well it performed in colder temperatures, as well as the durability factor. Also, what does she think would be the lower temperature limit for the OV jacket? Thanks!
Great footage!! Well done 👍
Big thanks
Joe B is the king of funny puns 🤣

Thank you for another stellar video! Appreciate the effort to get them out.
Watching these videos is incredibly relaxing. Its almost like slow tv.
Awesome videos! What are those baskets you have on the sides of your trekking poles? I think you called them a pole bucket! I want but I can’t find!

Great footage. Thanks!
Another amazing video! So excited to see what you film in the Whites. Thank you!
Noticed the new tent - how about some details about it and how it has been performing. Thanks - enjoying your videos.
I’ll do an update on it soon. It’s a Six Moon Designs Haven Tarp & Net Tent. We are loving it so far. It’s so roomy!
@@BackcountryBanter Been in any driving rains that got you wet in the previous tent yet?
You guys are seriously just the coolest freakin people ever. You should start your own cult.
Really glad to be back in cell service range so I can catch up. I’m so glad there are wonderful trail angels out there for you!

Think it may be a six moons design haven tarp
Yup! It’s a Six Moon Designs Haven 2P tarp and net tent. So far it has been incredible.
Great landscape shots. Wish I was there :(
Great hike!! Keep it up!!
Awesome video Joe 👍 was a real treat to see the change of the trees , thanks for all the efforts editing video, it's gotta be a pain some times.
She is way too good at giving you the look.

Good review on the Yellow Deli, thoughtful, yet not unkind. I agree, I would choose not to support their cause.
Is that Gallant at 13:24? We rode together to/from Trail Days. Hi from Villain! (@VillainHikes IG).
OK, I needed to keep watching til 15:10.
It is! Awesome.
holy balls that twelve tribes stuff is seriously fucked up.
Agreed!
Are you thinking PNT yet, by any chance?
I’d love to one day...

Hi, nice videos, I just looked up the yellow deli and they sound like a real bunch of loonies, lucky you got out.
